Take your program/fanbase for example. Losers of 4 in a row to the kings of the SEC. The masses are restless, patience has worn thin, top flight LA players are bolting for Bama (Cam Robinson, Collins, Shyheim Carter just to name a few).
There is an uneasiness amongst LSU fans. Wonder why? Look no further than your inability to keep up with Bama. Sure you lost to Arky, Notre Dame, and Moo State. But had you beaten Bama, "well at least we beat dem damnnn Bammers!" The masses wouldn't be quite so angry. Les would be loved a little more. Life would be ok.

LSU fans are restless because of a lack of titles, not because we are losing to Bama. We would be just as frustrated if it were any other team winning. There isn't one single LSU fan that would rather beat Bama than win the SEC.

You've presented no facts, only your belief that because a few coaches were fired in 2008 that means it was because of Alabama's return to prominence.

All flaming aside - he is the HEAD coach - not the offensive head coordinator. That is an executive (and well paid) position. He is to blame for both sides of the ball. Period. If the defense greatly improves, give him the credit. If it sucks or is only mid-tier, give him the blame.
I personally think he'll be mid-to-upper tier, always up and down between those levels. Never lower though. He'll get better in time, epsecially when Saban retires.

No one is denying that. Alabama has had LSU's number. But I watched the games and know that a fumble here or a first down there, and the outcome could have been different. We've managed to give Alabama a very good game, or beat them, most times.
But in reality, the road to a championship will now go through Ohio State. I hate it too. But they will be in the top 4 for years to come.
