Can you show 1 AU poster that says UGA wasn't luck? It's laughable you are talking about reason while interjecting your own facts.

and just play disciplined football,

This is where Arky will falter. If Saban's D can't be disciplined, how the hell does he think Arky's will. That is every teams problem against Gus' offense.

He also compared Auburn's run-heavy, big-pass approach to Navy.

quote:

"One of the biggest things Arkansas has to do in their opening game is, if they can avoid letting that big pass play go over top and just play disciplined football, it's going to be a real tight game," Schiano said, according to ArkansasNews.com. "Now if the ball goes flying over the top, that's how they blow the game open. And once they get a lead, they're built to have a lead, because when they have a lead, now they're going to run that football and eat clock."

I do not think AU passes the ball early. With those temps at KO, they will try to wear out ARK D by using the HUNH at a fast pace.

Auburn receivers will dominate. So he said it might be a blow out, really going out on a limb.

Now if the ball goes flying over the top, that's how they blow the game open. And once they get a lead, they're built to have a lead, because when they have a lead, now they're going to run that football and eat clock."

All the over-confident Auburn posters should read this series of articles for an objective look at the game written by one of your own.

I'm over confident for saying the #6 team most likely beats an unranked team at home?

Those articles said nothing I didn't already know.

that it will

can't wait for

1) the excuses as to why Arky lost by 3 scores and

2) excuses as to why they won't uphold the ban bet

And we were?

Never said you were. But the fact that we did not play well and still win by 18 while running about 4 different plays doesn't bode well for y'all. Especially since this game is a home game for us.

All the over-confident Arky posters should look at the same things.

1. Its the season opener for Arky too.
2. Auburn can run the ball better.
3. Auburn did win last year by 3 scores.
4. Gus has proven he is a better coach in the SEC.
5. Being better than last year's Arky team isn't saying much. That still doesn't mean you are anywhere near Auburn's level.

The number of plays you guys ran changes with each passing day. Soon you'll be telling us that Auburn only ran one play the entire game.

You're trying to reason with people that think they didn't get lucky with the way they beat Georgia. The delusion is off the charts with some of them.

Every single AU fan I've ever talked to has said that play was lucky as shite.

Why do Auburn fans on here have this sense of superiority over Arkansas?

Let me break it down for your simple mind.

SINCE 1990 when Arky joined the SEC

ARKANSAS:
151-125 Record
4-9 Bowl record
0 SEC titles
0 National titles
0 Undefeated seasons

AUBURN:
197-95 Record
11-5 Bowl record
3 SEC titles
1 National titles
3 Undefeated seasons

The exact number doesn't matter. The point is we ran a very vanilla offense in that game. But you already knew that and decided to grasp at straws.
