Arkansas' DC Robb Smith used to be Schiano's DC. That's why he was there.

I'll believe Greg Schiano when I see a "tight" game. Otherwise, I won't. You're right about the Robb Smith connection. Having said that, I hope he's right.

Auburn will likely win this game by 17 points. They are just the better team. Better athletes. Better staff. Home field advantage. Arky will be improved this year, but AU is one of the 10 best teams in the nation.
The Alabama fans I know are taking Auburn more seriously than the Arkansas fans I know. It's bizarre.

So Bert and his assistants don't have the ability to game plan on their own?

Probably not.
Elaborate more because stats say otherwise. Our QB had more rushing yards than your starting rb.

The line right now is around -21, so -17 isn't that big a stretch. That having been said, it's about time for me to dawn my cardinal shade glasses.

Yeah, I hear it's going to be tied at least until kickoff.

Arkansas' problem last year was a weak passing game. New system and an injured QB who could only practice once a week explains a lot of that. I expect that part of their game will be much better. There running game should be better, especially with that Freshman RB coming through. Didn't the Hogs start 2 or 3 Freshman on the OL last year? I think the opener will be a very close game.

Alabama knows this will be a down year for them. we see potential for a break out year this year because of other teams in the league being down and we return a lot of experience at key positions. other teams we play will be lacking in experience at key positions.

And Auburn isn't one of them, so your statement makes zero sense.

Schiano would likely be about as successful in the SEC as Bert is.

I see a 10-14 point game. I think Auburn will be better and at home, but I see this Arkansas team improving this year under Bert.

the QB and LT auburn will be starting against us disagrees

2015 and 2016 teams realistically will be a lot better. this years team could surprise some people

Yeah, they both have experience. Regardless, the rest of the oline is intact. Dunno if the 5* at LT can overcome.
