Can't we just all get along and say the big 10 sucks?

Arkansas' problem last year was a weak passing game. New system and an injured QB who could only practice once a week explains a lot of that. I expect that part of their game will be much better. There running game should be better, especially with that Freshman RB coming through. Didn't the Hogs start 2 or 3 Freshman on the OL last year? I think the opener will be a very close game.

We had a lot of weaknesses last year but you're right. We should be a lot better in a lot of areas, especially with defense and our secondary. Our receivers should be better as well. In light of this, a lot of our success will depend on the improvement with BA's performance. Hopefully, he'll be able to perform a lot better.

Auburn is also a rhythm offense and typically takes a team like that a few games to get going...same thing happened last year.

How did you come to that? This is CGM 2nd season as HC. In retrospect if we took a snap shot of this time last year our starting QB had just arrive on the Plains last week. How does a QB develop in an offense where he can be that effective the first game?

Gus didn't start calling plays last year

I get it...who knows how long Marshall will be out.

This team is starting out ahead of where we were going into the UT game last year. Also #8 > #5 @MLB for AU.

Losing all that talent? That seems far-fetched

....and so was Charlie Weis. Does it mean you are a good coach because you were in the NFL?

I don't know if we can win, I don't even know if we can be competitive

but if we can just play well enough to get Gus to put Marshall into the game early, forcing him to go against God's instruction in his lust for earthly glory and condemning his soul to an eternity in hell

I would consider that a moral victory

Well, looks like Arkansas has the secret that no else could figure out about Gus and his tendencies. Will be interested to see how they execute it.

If Willy Robinson can figure him out, I'm sure Schiano can.

I'm sure. And if Willie Robinson can do it, so can Smart, Pruitt, Grantham, and Steckel. Oh wait...
