Shiano was in town for a speaking engagement at the NWA Touchdown Club. But if it suits your purpose to believe that CBB 'called him in' to help prepare for Auburn, well, have at it.

Shiano did attend a practice though.

Since we're using historic data and such- the whole league shouldn't even be concerned with Auburn this year given your proclivity for not winning 10 games 2 years in a row, right?

Correct. Don't be concerned.

ETA: Do you want to see a total of 10 wins seasons for both teams since 1990?

You ran a vanilla offense in most of your games.

Your point?

Greg Schiano on the Auburn-Arkansas game: "It's going to be a real tight one" quote: quote: "One of the biggest things Arkansas has to do in their opening game is, if they can avoid letting that big pass play go over top and just play disciplined football, it's going to be a real tight game," Schiano said, according to ArkansasNews.com. "Now if the ball goes flying over the top, that's how they blow the game open. And once they get a lead, they're built to have a lead, because when they have a lead, now they're going to run that football and eat clock." Guy's a fricking savant, how'd he come up with that?

I know with analysis like this how is he not winning national titles or Lombardi trophies is beyond me.

Going off history its been awhile so we are due. Also going off history Bert can't win a SEC game so we shouldn't be having this conversation.

I don't. It is a good gauge to see how pathetic a fanbase is. Anything negative said about Arky or LSU is downvoted to hell

That's what is so scary. We ran a vanilla O and still won the SEC. Our guys have nine more months in this O. We lost our LT and replaced him with a 5* that was one of the most highly touted LT, in the nation, coming out of HS. We added the best JUCO WR in the nation. We have quality depth at RB. Our D will be improved simply because this is the second year in the new system. Have hope for ten more days....then reality will set in for you.

Ok. Schiano himself said he's been in meetings the last 36 hours.

Auburn will likely win this game by 17 points. They are just the better team. Better athletes. Better staff. Home field advantage.

Arky will be improved this year, but AU is one of the 10 best teams in the nation.

Probably not? The AU team that set SEC records last year rushing probably can't run better than a 9 loss Arky team? You see, this is why people don't take you guys seriously.
