When did Bama lose to N. Illinois and C. Florida?

2003. Shula's first year.

Most of that roster had no business in the SEC.

He couldn't go back to a ball control offense as bad as his defense was. Last good D the barn had Tubs was coach.

If the offense isn't clicking and they get up quick, those fast 3 and outs really wear down your defense.

Not even bothered by losing to a team that finished 13-0.

Oh, and I've watched Auburn lose to USM in person, by the way.

The losses on the field were a direct correlation to what was going on behind the scenes. He lost the team. There are a lot of rumors about what was happening behind the scenes. I'm not sure how true they were or how much effect they had on the team, but if you sat near our team bench during the games, you could see a team who didn't give a shite about playing.

Everybody lost to Brett Favre Southern Miss, including Bama.

But y'all also lost to Southern Miss in 2000.

So Auburn hasn't lost to a mid major in 25 years since one had a HOF QB that beat everybody.

Bama has lost to 5 mid majors in the last 15 years.

Bama has also managed to win twice as many national championships in the last 7 years as Auburn has since Adam and Eve fricked. I'll take those losses to mid majors for that.

He is a very good DC.

He is not a good HC.

That pretty much sums it up.

Let's not forget Saban being so traumatized by his loss to UAB that he got the REC to dismantle their football program when he got to Alabama.

State would have won the whole thing. Do you really think Auburn could win without him? That will be a negative
