This is exactly the same thing the OM fans were saying on TR when Smoke was being fired, and how LSU baseball program was going down the shitter. "We would never find another coach as good as Skip. Blah, blah, blah. Mike Bianco turned LSU down. *snicker"
What happened? 3 years = National Championship
I am not at the point of comparing Miles to Smoke Laval in baseball b/c he let the talent level get abysmal. Miles hasn't done this, and iF i were an opposing fan, I would hope LSU doesn't hire another coach, b/c LSU will always get the talent. Coaching is the only concern at a school like LSU. Ask Paul Mainieri about that.
Only a couple of schools in the conference are in the position of LSU. Bama is a school that should always put out a good team except when they aren't doing hard time for the NCAA. Even though Bama has to deal with AU, they should still own most of the talent in that state with their background and pedigree. Florida is another one who should be good, especially when teams like Florida State and Miami are in the shitter.
Overall, LSU will be fine for years to come.
