"There were around 12,000 Ole Miss fans there, give or take. Leaving what, 80,000 LSU fans? "

These stats were for players only

You think Saban's players didn't quit after playing us in 07?

I don't think the team quit. I think the suspensions on the Oline and elsewhere due to textbook gate hurt us pretty bad. We didn't lose any games by more than 7. We kept it close with Auburn. It just wasnt a very good team and with suspensions it was even worse.

Jordan Jefferson had 20 of LSU's 37 rushing yards on one play.

Just on a side note: Jefferson's rushing yards are a bit skewed due to him being sacked on OM's relentless blitzes. Which is to be expected given blitzing a true freshman QB until he is able to avoid it is pretty much common sense football 101.

On designed runs, Jefferson ran 48 yards on 6 att. for 8.0 ypc. Just FYI.

So number of teeth is inversely proportional to success on the field?

Do you even watch football? While I will say LSU didn't look very good after that bama loss last year, they didn't quit. They went 2-2 after that and one of the losses was on a last minute 4th down hail-mary and in the other our starting QB went down early in the game. They were one play away from being 3-1 during that stretch of games. If that is quitting, what the f**k is your team doing every year?

they def quit during the ole miss game and then did the same thing in the arky game.

curtis taylor was laughing after the loss too arky. the team had packed it in. we won the bowl based on some shake ups.

We didn't give 100 percent after bama and that would be quitting imo
