Seems that lots of Ole Miss fans are basking in the publicity they're receiving right now, even if it's bad pub...They need to enjoy it while they can, as Ole Miss football will soon go back to being irrelevant again.

Maybe Ole Miss can form new football rivalries with Kentucky or Vandy.

Man, were you fooled. That "So called Girl's" name is Haley. That's what Hugh calls himself on Saturday night in Oxford.

Mark Richt or Freeze?

Yes. My entire livelihood. That would be the easiest bet I've ever done. That's the dumbest shite ever.

I'll admit I do believe Richt is one of if not the only coach in the SEC who tried to do things the right way. And what did he get for it? He got shitcanned because UGA and their fans felt that wasn't good enough. Now y'all have Kirby Smart, who I would think is a lot closer to what Freeze is than Richt. At the end of the day we all know our schools cheat a little bit, we just hope they are smart enough not to get caught. It's a cynical way of looking at it, but with as much money is being made with tv deals, etc.. It pays for coaches to bend the rules. I have no problem with us being punished severely if the NCAA really wants to crack down on this stuff. But if they're going to do that, they need to look into every major program and be willing to do the same to Bama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, etc..

I agree, I have no problem being competitive on the shady side of things, which kirby may start to do if he cant get the ball rolling off the bat. I just think some moderation and taking baby steps would have been a better idea for ole miss, it's almost like they went from so-so to dominating on the recruiting trail overnight. And instead of just a slight bit of humility, the fans were flaunting it and bragging about they don't even care if its cheating.

I truly think if UGA was under this weight I would be way more humble about whats going on and not so fricking arrogant that nothing is going to happen. The level of arrogance before and after all this came out has been staggering, and if you don't show some humility and genuine concern for what your program has been doing then you can damn sure expect fans from all the other teams to be 1000% against you.

since it has become apparent that no one else in the SEC can do it, kicking the Crimson Tides arse on the regular...this alone makes Ole Miss relevant.

words, you would not. I have no problem with us being penalized for any cheating we did. If you do something illegal and get caught, you deserve to be punished. But this is about the same as someone with a radar detector to make sure they never get "caught" speeding, lecturing someone going 80 in a 70 for putting lives in danger. The hypocrisy of it all is what is annoying to me. We've been investigated and they found stuff and we'll be punished accordingly. But let's not act like any of the programs in the SEC are clean.

Interesting. The difference is the speed limit being 70. Yeah everyone's gonna push it to 75-80. And authorities(police) will probably let it slide. However, then you have one wise arse that's going 120 right by the cop, pants down, arse out the window with a hard on. That dumbass is getting busted.
Hopefully this puts it in perspective for you.

and the only 2 reasons your team isn't under a microscope like Ole Miss is that 1) you cant beat Alabama. and 2) your instate rival aren't bitches that earn themselves the nickname SNITCHU.

Yalls entire reason for getting caught cheating is MSU snitching and beating Bama?

Totally their fault.

do you think if Ole Miss had gone 7-6 and 8-5 the the past couple seasons, this would be the lead story on every sports page and website? I know you hate us, CNB, but think objectively about that.

Relevant enough to live in the entire nation's head rent-free, it seems.

Only in Oxford, is a two game winning streak and 11 wins all time considered "on the regular."

Nah. You got a "Lose to Memphis, do not pass go, go directly to Playoff Purgatory card."
