So, we are to believe that it was a mistake that Ole Miss was paying Tunsil and his mother's bills? Freeze would have us believe that his staff did not find that to be a violation of NCAA rules?

@McMurphyESPN: Ole Miss’ Hugh Freeze: "I have zero knowledge, any (of our) coaches has paid a player. If I get that knowledge, there will be problems"
Yeah, that guy in administration doesn't count as a coach.

I think they mean relevant as in 4@25 away from going to the SEC championship

can someone direct me to the willful intent section of the impermissible benefits statute. Or maybe the ignorance affirmative defense provision.

Solid gold from the OM board.

There is no more, no less going on at Ole Miss that isn't happening at other schools.
There are athletes driving cars that don't belong to them. Even old beat up Mustangs.
Coaches make mistakes and give meals when they shouldn't, lodging to the wrong person during visits. It happens every year on some campus. Most of the time it's self reported and you hear very little about it.
This is 3 years of investigation, there is no evidence of any big pay out to get Tunsil on campus or to keep him on campus. If he were getting paid big money, he wouldn't need to have $350 for the light bill he didn't budget for in the cost of his apartment.
Both the coaches who were involved with the meals, lodging and unauthorized contact are under suspension.
The coaches who were responsible for the ACT scandal are no longer with the school.
There were be reductions in visits, coaching/teaching for the coaches to know who is to receive room or board and when.
Additional staffing has been added to assist the coaches.
And the scholarships will be reduced over the next 3-4 years. Unless some coach leaves in the next few weeks, there is an explanation for Tunsil's text request $350 dollars.
All these penalties were worked out while the investigators were on campus.
The attorneys have earned their money, and unless someone is hiding something really big, state fans are just grasping at straws. Because they are scared of the future.
Besides, isn't it ironic that the only school in this state, we know of. that was interested in paying for a player, was state. They did inquire about what it would take to get Cam on board.
State should be scared and the establishment teams in the SEC should be scared. It has scared Georgia so badly, they changed coaches, SC got rid of the ol'ball coach. Les was saved by the fans for a year and if Saban drops another to the Rebels, he could find his sit getting very warm.

Yeah, because the other prevented championships. Good god at the delusion.

He needs to just shut up. He is digging his hole even deeper every time he opens his mouth.

No, I want him to keep talking. Entertaining.

Y'all are all just scared of Hugh.
He's running the SEC now.

Why would Sabans seat get warm if he loses a meaningless game agaisnt Ole Miss. The Rebels have proven they can't win the sec even if they beat Bama

The whole world but Hugh Freeze has that knowledge as it was flashed across ESPN on Draft night.

I guess begging someone to find violations in that tweet from a few years ago, and said violations being revealed, wasn't enough to make him hush. Or lying to anyone that would listen as to the degree of the penalties that were found by the NCAA. The guy seems more worried about what Joe Schmoe the rival fan is saying.

How could we get used to something that hasn't happened?
