Not sure either is a top 3 back. Fournete may become one but was never blown away by Chubb. Thought he was good but wasn't wowed with anything he did.
Dear lord that is a Dumass comment.

Chubb > booger. LF has yet to even be the best RB in the SEC either year he has played in the conference. Chubb has.
Nice troll attempt. Weak sauce. The troll itself tells you everything you need to know about how butt hurt gumps are the lf7 is a tiger.

Well, since the last time Chubb played his big toe kicked his hip bone and he's rehabbing, I'll venture to say 0% would take Chubb today.
You asked the question "which one is better now?"
I asked you to give me a percentage of college and NFL coaches who would take Chubb over Fournette "now" as you asked.
You replied 0%.....thanks for the laugh.

They both run the football in the SEC and one is superior to the other in every measurable category.
Correct.
Leonard Fournette has 2987 career yds rushing and 32 TD's.
Nick Chubb has 2294 career yds rushing and 21 TD's.
I would recommend that you do the honorable thing and resign with dignity from this thread. This is no fun. At least try to make it challenging. Geeezzz.

So yards and TDs are the end all be all now? when they were freshmen, we were told that we couldn't just look at those stats because Fournette had so much more potential.

Over time, yes. Cmon guys, I know it hurts, but use your brain.
And I will say this with all due respect and admiration for Nick Chubb as it relates to his injury and recovery. But durability will also be used as a measuring stick as both of these young men move forward. Nick just isn't in the same league as LF as far as size and strength and he has already shown to be more injury prone with his reliance on having to cut and shift to avoid contact.
LF is basically a runaway beer truck and a nightmare for second-level defenders when he gets his shoulders square and starts going downhill.

And guess who had a great sophomore season? This is just not fair. I feel like I'm picking on the kids who rode the short bus (and God knows I wasn't raised that way).

Holy fricking shite.
You seriously typed that and believed every word. This place is fascinating.

What a crock of shite. Chubb got injured on a freak play.

Serious question.....what NFL GM/Coach would take Chubb over Fournette right now? Stupid comparisons get stupid answers.

Nah, dude. He's just soft. If he was half of the tank that LF7 was, his knee wouldn't have gotten snapped backwards when that guy ran in to him.

Agreed but the bottom line is he got injured which in turn greatly reduces his stock with NFL brass when the discussion involves LF.

I don't think anyone with a brain is seriously arguing who would get drafted higher at this very moment.
There is absolutely an argument to be made about who the better back is when both are completely healthy.

What part is so fascinating?
Does it fascinate you that LF is bigger and stronger (do you honestly want to dispute this?) or that Chubb got hurt running east-west instead of north-south?
Are you always this easily fascinated?

Anybody that runs a zone blocking scheme. Fournette isn't good running outside.

Fournette is taller. Won't dispute that one bit.

It's good to know Fournette has never been forced out of bounds.

LF became the better Rb as soon as chubb's knee got bent. Before that, it wasn't even close in chubbs favor.

Now that's not true either. Don't take their level of hyperbole. I'm fine with people saying either one is better, but saying it isn't, or wasn't close is just ridiculous. It wasn't close their freshman year. Last year, it was absolutely close and Fournette had looked better IMO than Chubb before he got hurt.

Lets see Fournette has 176 more carries and has 2987 yds, compared to 2294 yds for Chubb. Now lets take those 176 more carries and at 7.1 yds per carry in Chubbs freshman season and add that much yardage. Thats 1249 yds which would put Chubb about 500 yds ahead of Fournette with the same amount of carries.
Now do the same thing with TD's and Chubb would have 33 TD's so looks like you can take stats and Chubb is the better back.
wow who knew.
