I have to agree with Finabaum on point #1. That was just embarrassing to lose to Indiana. shite happens...Mizzou can't overlook anyone.

Maybe it's the barley-wine talking tonight, but I don't care what others think.

This is the correct response.

"Baw, we know footballs down heah in da souf."

We don't care. We're here to cash checks and do what we do. M-I-Z

Also, OP, start fewer threads. Or at least start one that argues Missouri is southern based upon our Civil War heritage.

1. Finebaum will roast any team that has an embarrassing loss. I know he roasted Arkansas and I'm sure he roasted Alabama for their loss to ULM, also.

2. I don't agree that the Vols or Florida helped Missouri. That's just sour grapes and we all know he wouldn't have said the same if one of those teams had won.

3. I also don't agree that winning the SEC East isn't a big accomplishment, but the division is down and it's not the same as winning the West.

Missouri has gone 4-1 against Arkansas, Mississippi and Texas A&M, with most of those games coming against A&M. Against Alabama and Auburn, their record is 0-3, and they've yet to play LSU or MSU. So you're basically 4-4 against the SEC-W, which is worthy of being a "middle of the pack" team in the West, at best.

Of course not...you played two and were beaten by a combined score of 76-14

You guys beat a team or 2 that finished in the top 25

Actually we beat 4 with an average victory margin of 26 pts. Our only loss to a top 10 team was in double OT.

Congrats, you'll avoid Bama,LSU and AU for the 3rd season in a row (reg season)...thank the schedule maker.

It has nothing to do with the East. Just winning your division isn't a big accomplishment at all.

Also, it doesn't help if y'all keep getting your shite pushed in in conference title games.

I won't try to defend our performance against Alabama in last year's SECCG. We got dominated front to back.

But the 2013 SECCG was close. We cut the lead to 3 (45-42) in the 3rd quarter. And it remained a 3 point lead until 11 minutes left in the 4th quarter when Auburn scored to go up 10. We went for it on our 10 yard line on 4th down with 4 minutes left, didn't get it and turned the ball over and Auburn scored for the final margin.

That's when Auburn figured out your signs. Every SEC-W team has similar stories against Auburn.

And our #1 RB was out with an injury due to a late hit OOB.

I was including the Oklahoma losses.

1) Hope to see them in the WS. Go Cards!!!!

2) Haven't done that since my teens.

3) No Souls

4) Cool people. I had a 6 week class in San Antonio in 2013 and I found the bar where the SAMA watched the games. They took me right in even though I'm not an Alumni. Couldn't have been nicer people.

I support that inclusion.
Pinkel has a way of coming up very short in championship games.

A win against Auburn or Oklahoma puts us in the Natty and we just folded up like a cheap tent - the OU games were much worse than Auburn. I agree to some extent with the lack of respect for our team. Until we get over the truly big hump, there's no reason for enduring respect for our program from other fans.
