It doesn't matter if Georgia was ranked higher, Missouri did what it took and Georgia just couldn't quite manage it.

in fact the only SEC team ranked higher than Mizzou that year was coached by the OBC.. last year Mizzou still finished by beating a better bTEN team than indie.

Your logic is your team was better than Missouri even though they weren't good enough to make it to the SEC Championship game. Missouri, on the other hand, was good enough to do that.
