Because the Vols are 5-5.

Sounds stupid, right? This is the logic used by many on this board to grant Tebow 1st Team All-SEC over Mallett, despite Mallett having superior numbers.

(Yes, this is another Woopig/Mallett thread. Blow me. )

It's just me, so far.

But in 3 weeks you will hear about it from every Hog fan, ESPN, and media out let out there when the Tebow love-fest robs the SEC's best QB of a deserved honor.

You won't hear about it from ESPN or any other media not located in NWArk.

Because they all agree that Tebow deserves 1st team All-SEC

Mallett will get it next year... no one is knocking off Tebow, no matter what.

Based on his numbers being inferior to Mallett's this year or records?

Which is it?

Should Tebow get it for having the 2nd best numbers, or his teams record?

If it's his teams record, then only Florida and Alabama should have 1st Team honors. Eric Berry is what? 2nd team? 3rd team?

Ryan Mallet is a much better QB, it is a shame he has zero shot at 1st team...and its also a joke that Tebow is in running for the worthless Heisman trophy

Wow....I seem to remember Hawg fans making fun of Nutt regarding the repitition = insanity schtick.

But after the 10th time of seeing that stat in a week.......you have completely convinced me that Tebow>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mallett.

It's because there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING that states the 1st team ALL-SEC is determined solely off of stats.

But you likely aren't going to read the above.......seeing as how you already are committed to believing the consipiracy.

Ok, Pank.

Help me understand the difference between Eric Berry getting the nod, and Mallett not.

If it isn't stats, then only teams with 10-12 wins should have candidates, right?

If Tebow earns the nod for his teams record, then why should Eric Berry receive the honor?

You don't get it and you choose to NEVER get it......so why should I waste my time?

You've convinced yourself that there is a conspiracy and nothing that I or anyone else will say can convince you otherwise.
