Seriously?

I mean, seriously?

How fricking in-denial are you on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being pathological? A 20?

And that doesn't even get told accurately. Bama wasn't close. Auburn actually was close and was not a blowout.

scrooster, you are talking to VFL types. The Vols faithful have very few peers among other fan bases when it comes to levels of delusion they believe.

Ask anyone that followed the SEC East. It was a a beast compared to what it's been the past couple of years.

No. UT, UF and UGA was a beast compared to the past couple of years. Now it's been UGA, SC and MU that's been a beast.

4 SEC title games since it was announced that Mizzou was joing the SEC.

2011 LSU 42 Georgia 12
2012 Alabama 32 Georgia 28
2013 Auburn 59 Mizzou 42
2014 Alabama 42 Mizzou 13

This is the disconnect. It amazes me that folks cant wrap their heads around this simple stuff.

Looks to me like UGA had the big arse kicking. Not Mizzou. Glad you looked that up. Would not have known with the way others talk.

I don't get it either. I tried to understand the train of thought by comparing it to the Cardinals but even that doesn't compute. When the Cubs win the Central, I don't automatically go to the statement that the Central was down. My first reaction is that the Cards were down, not the entire division. I just don't get it.

I mean, has there ever been another SECE Champ that got trucked at home 34-0 by a fellow SECE team like Mizzou did against Georgia last season?

It was on the road but UGA did get thrashed by South Carolina in 2012 to the tune of 35-7.

It wasn't an SEC game but 2011 UGA got thumped by Boise State 35-21 in the Georgia Dome.

In 2010 South Carolina lost to Arkansas 41-20 at home.

2007 Tennessee lost two road games, one to Florida 59-20 and one to Alabama 41-17

2004 Tennessee lost at home to 34-10.

I got bored and stopped looking but it seems to me while there hasn't been a 34-0 beatdown, there have been plenty of SECE champs that got their arse whipped pretty good.

It was a QT. Sonic knew better than to go there in the first place.

V&S, I know where to get some aloe for that burn. It's locally sourced and organic.

Yes, the teams are different, but they're not at an elite level that those UGA, UF and UT teams were.

Go back, watch some games.

The only thing I think that makes sense is that the SEC was in the height of the "SEC SEC SEC" era lording over college football when Mizzou and aTm were announced as expansion schools. Having a Big 12 team come in a win the division 2 of 3 years has played hell with some of their beliefs.

I watched them back then. Not as closely but enough. Enough to know that in more years than not, there weren't 2 teams in the top 5. And I prefer not to watch Tebow teams anymore than I have to.
