1. 185th isn’t a thing.
2. LSU running backs average a grand total of 3.5 yards more per game than Washington running backs

I understand that Daniels is a better rusher than Penix, but the fact is that Penix is led a far less talented team to natuonal title contenders.

Funny, LSU fans & Bama fans both will be rooting for Oregon State Satuday night.

Doesn't Penix have the best story too? Overcoming all of those injuries?

Put JD in Eugene or Seattle, he leads both to unbeaten marks sans their head-to-head gm(IE vs himself)..probably by even greater ease to date vs their easier ranked SOS.

Put Penix or Nix in BR, LSU is the same three loss if not a fourth or fifth Loss for this woeful LSU Defense.

would vote for him but not beating Florida state or Alabama and not having an opportunity to play in a big end of the year game or conference championship game (which most of the other contenders will do) is likely to cost him whether that's fair or not.

The Heisman is a joke really. It should go to the best player in CFB. It’s not a team award. He is leading the country in almost every QB stat and 20th in the country in rushing.

Yes, and it shouldn’t even be a close vote.

I was about to say everybody but bama fans.

They shouldn't change the normal team record for him. He has lost 3 games. Penix deserves it the most. Nix is 2nd.

This is a joke right? Not even top 3 QB in this class

If an NFL team picks anyone not named Caleb Williams over him at QB they haven't done their job, and I almost wonder if Williams should be picked over him.

There have been more Alabama fans saying he should win it than not.

There are a lot more than just Alabama fans saying he shouldn’t/won’t win it. I count Bama, Arky, A&M, Ole Miss, Georgia and MSU. Also other fans from most of those schools saying he should/will win it. The seems like a pretty honest conversation. There seems to be only one school here in group think. And there isn’t a right answer yet with games left to play.

I mean I think he is great, but I would have to give it to Penix at the moment.

You mean the guy with less passing yards, less passing touchdowns, more interceptions, and -24 yards rushing?

He's playing in the PAC-12;not the Sun Belt.

Honestly, I think JD is a better player, but if Penix goes undefeated & take UW to the playoffs, he definitely deserves the trophy.

If the award is actually supposed to go to the most outstanding player then Jayden Daniels should win.

Unfortunately it's a load of crap and he has no shot.

Penix also had a game this season where they didn't score an offensive touchdown against a shite tier opponent.

Washington would have lsus record if they were in the Sec.

I'd take Jayden over everyone

Easily. Nobody has been better this year and LSU already has a minimum of 6 losses this year without him.

If it's really about the best player he wins in a cakewalk.

It's supposed to be about the best player, not the best player on the best team.

Without Jayden Daniels LSU would be fighting to be bowl eligible. I think he’s earned it.

Imagine BK’s first two seasons without the Arizona St transfer…tough times ahead for LSU. Without Daniels they basically suck.

Shouldn't go to a guy playing for a middle of the pack team
