Former UConn QB Johnny McEntee posted a video on TikTok, in which he claimed that he likes to give fake money to homeless people. He hopes that the homeless people use the fake money and ultimately get arrested. Joke or not?...

This has got to be a troll. I know people confess to obvious crimes and post them like idiots all the time but this just seems a bit much. 18 US Code 472 is pretty clear.

Does he know it’s fake money? I’m not sure if he does

He is actually helping them if that’s how it plays out. Giving them 3 meals and a bed.

I doubt you find any federal prosecutor who is going to go after a homeless person for passing off a bogus bill. That would be an embarrassing skin on the wall. Someone who goes online to admit passing them out.... that is the more likely target of prosecution. That's why this is likely a troll.

Has anyone or anything that's ever come out of the state of Connecticut not totally sucked?
