He probably wouldn't have went anywhere higher if he had went anywhere else. Bama having so many 5* on the field at once makes the rest of them look better and covers up their flaws.

The Colts didn't draft Kelly because they thought he was a better player than Henry. They drafted Kelly because they had a great need at center and need to totally revamp their offensive line.

What sense does it make to draft a RB in the first, if you can't block for him?

LSU played 12 games (including the bowl). He ran for 52% of his yards in 5 (only one less than half) of those 12 games. I would expect pretty much every RB's numbers to be just a tad heavy on the cupcake side of the schedule like that.

Also, LF and DH had 6 common opponents. That is not a small sampling, it is half the schedule. LF did better against common opponents. There are only 2 reasons DH had more yards and won the Heisman. Reason 1: DH didn't have to run against Bama's D. Reason 2: DH played 3 more games. DH is a great back. But NFL experts just said definitively LF is the better RB by a lot.

I'll never understand why people think players regret where they go to college. Players don't get paid in college they get paid in the NFL. Last I checked they don't get paid to win a MNC either. LF nor DH regret where they went to college. LF will forever be a Louisiana/LSU hero.

He'd have multiple rings and a Heisman Trophy and Rueben wouldn't have raped him on live TV.

Alabama fans are the trashiest fans in sports

Leonard fournette went 4th like we predicted and Henry will be a bust just like the rest of the RB at bama

Henry had a better YPC and TD/run ratio than Demarco Murray did last year (he also had a better YPC and TD/run ratio than any LSU back in the NFL).

Eddie Lacy and Mark Ingram both averaged over 5 YPC last year, and Ingram became the first Saint to rush for 1,000 yards since 2006. Ingram is also about to be #2 all time in rushing for the Saints and could be your franchise's leading rusher of all time within 2 years.

Richardson - Bust
TJ Yeldon - jury is out. Not looking great considering they just drafted an RB #4 overall, but let's see if LF likes running behind that line considering neither of their primary backs averaged more than 3.8 YPC.

How many times are we going to see Leonard Fournette on the Heisman House commercials?

Wrong. The Att are not what has folks in the NFL concerned. It's the practices that players like Jonathan Allen say are worse than games. It's the helicopter coaching that Eddie Lacy alluded to when he said that he didn't know how to be a pro when he got to the NFL because everything was taken care of at bama. It's having Cochran screaming in your face every day at 5am in the weight room.

Then you go to practice and saban is turning every shade of red and screaming at anybody who makes a mistake. Etc etc etc...these guys are emotionally and physically beaten down when they leave Tuscaloosa. That's why I call him the swag-vampire. It's all in good fun.
Makes you wonder why the hell Saban is able to pull in top recruiting classes year after year after year? It's like all this 4-5* talent from all over the country are signing up for punishment. Why?

It's an exercise in futility when you bring logical facts to threads like these.

I just wanted to ask any bama fan if they think he is at least questioning his decision to go to bama. Saban has ruined any chance of any RB to get picked in the 1st rd after the way he has sent a slew of physically and emotionally beaten down RB's into the NFL.

No wonder Mark Ingram never comes back to Bama, never shows up to their games to support the team at big games. He's so angry at Coach Saban for how he was treated.

I don't think a grown man who has hundreds of thousands of dollars in the bank, yet goes out in public looking like this, is capable of regret in any form or fashion.

I do not think DH regrets going to Bama, he probably has not lost any sleep where LF was drafted. No doubt about it LF was a great college player when he was healthy, just hope he can stay healthy at the next level. More games, faster defenders and harder hitters than what he is use to.

If you really think Bama has the worst fan base in the world you're so wrong.

Ok so what? Richardson and McFadden both went top 4. We'll see how LF turns out.

Henry has shown nothing to say he will be a bust.

Of all the fan bases to troll, why do LSU fans pick Bama? As usual it's football related trolling too which makes it even more puzzling considering LSU is Alabama's bitch in football. There's not much shite you can talk about Bama so you guys choose the most obscure things.

That can happen when you're not the feature back on your team. I'm not going to call Henry a bust but I'll wait until he shoulders starting responsibilities before making a judgment.

Eddie Lacy played in 5 games last year. His YPC isn't very compelling with that small a sample size. He had a good first two years, but he is and has been on a downward trend.

Good for Ingram, it only took him his 6th year in the league to break 1000 yards in a season. I'm sure that's what the Saints were looking for when they drafted him in the 1st round. And I like how you worded it that he may be the all-time rushing leader in a couple years. Why not just post his career total in rushing yards? because it sounds worse to say he has 4200 yards in 6 seasons?

It's hard for Ingram to break 1000 yards when he's in a pass happy system and has to share the load. Isn't Ingram the first 1000-yard rusher since Deuce McAllister? Ingram also had 964 yards in '14.
