None of it has anything to do with where they went to school. It's bama and LSU. As far as a prospect of their caliber having a chance to succeed, the difference is indiscernible IMO. They were both used as work horses. Injuries happen. I would still take Leonard every day of the week and that has nothing to do with any tribal preference. I just think LF is way more dynamic. They will both take too much punishment to have long NFL careers most likely. Their styles are not kind in that regard.

Yes the guy who got drafted 45th made a better name for himself in college than the guy who got drafted 4th

Ok Einstein.
NFL teams were lining up to pick him if the Jaguars would have passed.
The same teams that let DH slide to the 45th pick.
The same teams who looked at his highlights and at least one team thought his Center was the better player
.
But you think he made a better name for himself in college. Where do you people come from?

I mean he did. He won the Heisman. He could leave the league today and still be talked about 20 years from now.

All that money couldn't buy one win vs Bama.

Fact of the matter remains that LF7 quit after 3 games so he really only kinda played in less than 35 games in his college career.

And still gained more total rushing yards (3830) than any RB from bama.....EVER. Since 1892.....not 1992....1892.

I know you are hoping to hear a few Bama posters say that the NFL people all know and agree that LF way > DH. They won't though. Even though it is true, and was true in college. 10 of 10

Draft position has nothing to do with who made a better name for one's self in college. Jason White won the 2003 Heisman and wasn't even drafted

How anyone can call LF over rated from 2 bad games is beyond me. I guess Manziel and Peyton Manning were over rated as well.

Lf lived up to expectations and then some. Sure LSU under achieved while he was here, but it wasnt because of Fournette

52% of his yards in 2015 came in only 5 games vs terrible run defenses Eastern Mich, Syracuse, W. Kentucky, TAMU, TTU (4 non conf/1 SEC)

There's a reason he never got a Heisman invite....

I listed all of his stats and awards in the OP. I think DH was a great back and deserved to get a 1st rd draft pick like every RB who won the Heisman since at least OJ (1968). I just think it's silly to say that he made a better name for himself than LF did. Obviously the people who invest tens of millions of dollars in these guys agree with me.

I just wanted to ask any bama fan if they think he is at least questioning his decision to go to bama. Saban has ruined any chance of any RB to get picked in the 1st rd after the way he has sent a slew of physically and emotionally beaten down RB's into the NFL.

It's a fair question. I knew i wouldn't get any serious responses. They always deflect when they can't defend. I know the drill.

Bama was essentially the only school who was truly recruiting DH as a running back. Everyone else wanted him as an "athlete," with most trying to talk him into playing linebacker.

I'd say his decision to play for Bama was a good one, although I can't say for certain that he wouldn't have been an All-Pro linebacker.
