And before you answer, make sure you know the numbers.

I'll embarrass you here so make sure your ducks are in a row.

We have already showed you stat after stat that proves otherwise, but you keep saying it. Their 2 best teams this decade got throttled by two average/below-average SEC teams. What do you think would happen if they played a full 8 game SEC schedule?

Please tell me how they are an all-around better program? Because right now, you are making a fool out of yourself.

Well, you are indeed "telling" us this. Unfortunately, nobody who has paid any attention to college sports at all is buying it. Why? Because it simply isn't true and can not possibly be supported by facts.

Boot out Arksnsas to the BIG12. Boot Kentucky to the ACC (basketball school anyway)

Add FSU and GT

Tenn to SEC West

WEST:
LSU
UM
MSU
AU
BAMA
TENN

EAST:
UGA
GT
FSU
UF
USCe
Vandy (Maybe trade them for Clemson)

Why?

Right now, both of our football programs are in better shape than FSU's. They wouldn't do any better in the SEC.

Are you seriously trying to compare or say your program is better then Florida State. If Florida State joined the SEC recruits would definitely go to Tallahassee before they head to Fayetteville. Florida State still has huge name value.

Droppin a little knowledge on you, hotshot...UALR does not have a football program. I suspect you are thinking that THE University of Arkansas, home of the Razorbacks is in Little Rock. That would be yet another "fact" you have gotten wrong. The University of Arkansas is actually located 3 hours to the northwest of Little Rock in a town called Fayetteville.

Sorry I mixed up Little Rock and Fayetteville buddy. I'm sure their both beautiful towns. But, I can't see the state of Arkansas being all that different from town to town.

All-time? No. Right now? Yes.
One winning season in the ACC the past 4 years is absolutely horrible.

He really didn't know where our University was?

I think i'm done arguing with him now.

Just for mental masturbation purposes, let's say that really did happen. Arkansas would probably have a better chance every year of being in the NC game. Even recruiting might perhaps be easier and better. Any SEC team would have a better chance for a better yearly record in any other conference. Would Georgia Tech want to make it more difficult on themselves? Would FSU? Would Clemson? I don't think so. Arkansas loves the competition. We didn't have the consistent level of competition we have now when we were in the SWC. We were treated like a "kicked to the curb" malnourished street urchin in the SWC and we continue to be somewhat now in the SEC. We don't care. We just love our SEC brothers and love to kick that butt. We don't care about rivalries. We just love to give it everything we have to be everyone's nemesis and nightmare. The SWC groomed us well. I can see why some would want us to leave. I would want us to leave too. We don't really hate anyone ...well, sometimes we did with Texas, but get used to it ...in spite of being hated, disliked, or disrespected, We LOVE you ALL!

I know. I just couldn't think of anything else that fit.

We joined the SEC when I was 15, and now we've been in the SEC for a majority of my life. It no longer feels like we don't belong. And the money and everything else means we will stay.

wmr,
i can honestly say that having arkansas in the sec is a honor. i remember as a young boy admiring the hogs. when i heard the razorbacks were joining the sec, i felt it was a good fit. certainly, getting a texas or a&m to join the conference with say a georgia tech and clemson would undoubtley make a super conference with never before seen tv money. i'd be for it. the horns and aggs have more in common with arkansas, alabama, ms, tennesse, florida, georgia, and south carolina etc than texas has with iowa, nebraska, kansas etc. if i remember, texas was in the confederacy.

Trust me. You don't want more texas/aTm fans posting on this message board or your team message board.

the aggies always bring out the Ghey pics? I do not know why but they are like BAMA fans posting pictures of Hounds-tooth. I guess they both have their traditions.

I can only speak for myself. I went to my first Hog game in 1958. I hate Texass. But, I would be greatly disappointed if we left the SEC. I feel fortunate we were ask to join this conference and I'm looking to the day when we win it. If you love your team (and I do) and you love college football (and I do) then the SEC is THE place to be. Period. End of story!

Hey Emilio, you must be young because Georgia Tech had their shot in the SEC and theyh opted out in the 60's. Tulane followed a couple of years later. The fan base of Georgia Tech in the state of Georgia is slightly above the Tulane fan base in Louisiana. The state of Georgia is a bulldog state like the state of Louisiana is a tiger state. Ask the older Ga. Tech fans about leaving the SEC and they will tell you that it was a big mistake. I'll enlighten you, Georgia Tech and Alabama had a heated rivalry when Tech was in the SEC. Those two schools hated each other. Ole Miss has pretty much been LSU's rival. There is a lot of history between the LSU and Ole Miss games such as the Billy Cannon's run. When I attended LSU in the late sixties we had Ole Miss week that included panty raids and the burning of garbage cans. Joining the ACC saved Techs butt but they never had a true rival in the ACC like they had with Bama when they were in the SEC. Arkansas is a perfect fit and before this season, they beat us in football. Baseball and basketball games between LSU and Arky have been pretty good and exciting. Arkansas was damn smart to join the SEC just as Tech and Tulane were damn stupid to leave it.
