Do Arkansas fans want to leave the SEC

I live in Houston. I hear people say Arkansas wants to get back to a natural rivaly like they had in the SWC. Do you Hog fans really want to leave and play the likes of Missouri, Iowa State, Colorado, etc. As a bama fan, I like having you in the conference. I may rant on you , but the hogs are great! tell me it ant't so! GO HOGS!!

If they put Ark on the side with Texas, OU, etc that would be bad for the HOgs

i do think Arkansas and the big 12 want to be back together some classic games were played between texas and arkansas and i love the idea so texas doesnt win every single yr

Not playing Texas has hurt Arkansas by cutting them off from their traditional recruiting ground.

Are these folks you are speaking to Aggy by any chance? Funny thing is Aggy is hoping Mizzou goes to the Big 11, Arkansas enters the B12N pic so they can be begged to join the SEC. That's texags.com for ya...

Responses to this? There is a lunatic fringe in the base that wants it, but like the Great Stadium Debate we mostly avoid it due to sheer idiocy

Why would arkansas leave when they get paid 5 million to show up against aTm and the sec tv network deal?

No but I have heard a Texas and A&M might join the SEC. That was the plan in 1991 and I have heard that they might look into it again. That would make the SEC without a doubt the best conference in all of football.

No, no aggies. actually it was a cougar fan who i got into a debate with. he mentioned to me that arkansas wants into the Big 12. i said why? the money in the sec is far greater than what the big 12 generates. frank broyles got into the sec for the money. i think arkansas just has not had the right coach. their time is coming. the sec does not want the aggies. they have a loyal fan base but the state of texas would never approve them leaving the big 12. nor would they let the horns ever leave as well.

I hope arkansas, or any other sec team for that matter, doesn't leave the sec. Our conference is running shite right now and I'd hate to see a team leave.

For me and 98% of the fan base it is a definite NO!!! the other 2% want us to leave and cried when Nutt left.....
While we have not won the overall conference championship in football it is great to be around other fans that are as passionate, smart assed as the SEC members...
