Has anyone outside of the Arkansas fanbase heard of this?
Also, if you want to go on this whole "new" rivalry platform. Auburn has been more of a threat and a true rival this decade than Arkansas has.

Hell no. There are only a very few Razorback Fans who want to leave the SEC and join the Big 12. I've been a life long Hog fan but the day we leave the SEC to join the Big 12 is the day I find another SEC Team to support. The only Hog fans who want to leave the SEC are ignorant and have a loser’s mentality.

Besides the "madeup" rivalry we have with y'all, we're rivals with Ole Miss,Auburn and Alabama.
As much as LSU wants to be Alabama's "rival". You're not. Yet. Might want to check with Auburn too.
That guy is right. LSU does not have a traditional rival in the SEC. Something may develop over time, but it hasn't yet. LSU fans probably instantly considered Alabama a "rival" when Saban got here... but to us, you're just a tough game in the west every year.
Our blood rivalries are Tennessee (thank God for Kiffin... he'll bring it back to what it was 50 years ago....) and Auburn. Not LSU. LSU is always a hard game, but there's no hatred there.

Ok Alabama isn;t a "traditional rival" for us. But, you would have o believe that in this past decade Auburn has been more of a rival than Arkansas and the idea of the LSU/Arkansas rivalry grown is simple a joke.

Well it would be foolish to think that LSU would ever surpass the rivalry games y'all have with Tennessee and Auburn.

But Arkansas has no true rivals in the SEC and it still feels funny having y'all around (imo). Arkansas belongs in the Big 12 and I believe would have much more success in the Big 12 (instead of being a middle of the road team in the SEC)
No doubt that LSU Fans have the best interest of Arkansas at heart. LOL. Wouldn't have anything to do with the Hogs regularly giving the Tigers all they want and then some would it? Of course not. I believe the combined scores of the last three games is 111 to 111. That's probably your real motivation in wanting the Hogs to leave the SEC.

Emilio7,
Of course I agree in the past decade (in which Arkansas has pretty much sucked) that Auburn has been a big game for you guys every season. I think it's mostly due to the great games you've played against them. If you were older in age, you'd probably think Arkansas was the "rival".
It's the same with Alabama fans. The young people (under 30) have no idea that Tennessee is our main rival and was The Bear's most important game during his time here. They all think Auburn is THE GAME because of the in-state rivalry, and because we all have to work together in Huntsville.

Not at all. My real motivation/hope is that we can get Georgia Tech back in the SEC. Their a better program then Arkansas is and have played 6 SEC programs in the past 2 years (including a bowl game). Simply their a better fit for the conference.

Ole Miss vs LSU seems legit. Lots of hate there an it's usually a close game

If anything Id think you'd want another Tulane on your schedule to get you another W. You'd rather travel across 2 states instead of just one to see the Tigers play? Logically, it doesnt make sense

Emilio7, I think LSU should join the Sun Belt Conference or Conference USA. Just imaging the riavaly games you could have. Tulane, Lousiana Layfayette, The University of Lousiana, Monroe and throw in Houston and Rice for good measure. I think it would be a natural for LSU.

Just to be clear on Arkansas sucking, since 1992:
-5th in overall Baseball wins
-3rd in overall Basketball wins
-7th in overall Football wins
-1st in Track and Field
And for good measure, our facilities from top to bottom are superior to every other SEC schools, from top to bottom.
So, is any of the above "elite"? No.
But Lil' Ole' Arkansas has outperformed over half the SEC from top to bottom.
If you want to say we should leave for geographical or historical reasons, ok. But we've damn sure more than held our own since joining and that says alot seeing as how we came from a vastly inferior conference.
Look to South Carolina if you want to find the new kid on the block that hasn't accomplished shite.

Thats great that y'all have held your own and done pretty good things for the conference. But, to try to compare Georgia Tech and Arkansas is apples and oranges.

Our worst performing sport is football, where we have still won or tied the West 4 times and have more overall wins than 5 other schools, to include USC and Ole Miss.
Are you telling me that Georgia Tech is going to place each of their individual sports no lower than 5th in overall performance, with only one being lower and landing at 7th?
You believe that?
Not to mention that Arkansas brings facilities and a following that G Tech can't match either.
Get real.

Since we joined the SEC:
Our football programs are about the same.
Our basketball program has been better
Our baseball program has been better
Our track and field has been better.
You're right, it's silly to compare GT to Arkansas.
Not to mention that if they joined the SEC, their football and baseball program would take a major blow.

I honestly don't care about the "rivalry" issue. I'm telling you that Georgia Tech is a all around better program than Arkansas.

In what?
Funding? Nope
Attendance? Nope
Facilities? Nope
Performance? Nope
I would LOVE to hear what's left that you defend that statement with.
