Didn't Jennings tear talk up on the ground last year?

And that's Florida and A&M. There were probably others. LSU's defense was far more responsible for their 8 wins than their offense.

I don't Feel like gathering data, and I don't need to. I have no reason to talk shite about Chavis, I'm a huge fan of his. We also dont even play the Aggies for a few years I think, so this isn't just out of spite or something like that. But there will come a game when you get 3rd and chavised, and all the data in the world won't help that sinking feeling in your stomach.

He can call 58 minutes of a great game then he changes all of a sudden with an off man coverage strategy instead of continuing to attack.

That IS a legitimate gripe. I will give you that.

There is still an element of 4th Quarter LSU offense that compounds that problem. Not to minimize the prevent shortfall, but shitty 4th quarter offense is a contributing factor. Chavis' D can't hold the opposing offense to 3 points and get ZERO help from the other side of the ball. That is too much to ask, especially in a close game. I could understand if LSU was giving up 21 points in the 4th to lose. Clearly, that was not the case.

Just shut the hell up about our offense. Especially last year with a true sophomore, QB, WR group, and an "overrated" RB.

Seriously Jennings was a sophomore, our oldest WR was a sophomore with less than 10 catches in 2013. You want to see 3rd and Chavis. Look at the 2013 UGA game. You can't say our offense didn't hold up it's end.

Pretend like you're a pro golfer at the top of your game. You're One stroke in the lead at the U.S. Open with a 7 foot Putt to win it all. At that point, your bogeys and birdies from Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and the previous Sunday holes don't mean shite. You have one putt for all the marbles.

Chavis would miss that putt

Oh my god. Can we please just make a Chavis board where you tards just bicker with each other back and forth? This Chavis shite is worse than UT spamming the board with hype.

It's really bad

You should already know of the late game breakdowns Chavis had at LSU while here are two examples of LSU being on the other end when Chavis was at Tennessee.

LSU vs Tennessee 2000

The Vols allow the Tigers to drive down to get in field goal range late. Only a block kick forces OT. Ultimately LSU gets the winning TD in OT. WATCH FOR THE OFF MAN COVERAGE ON ROHAN DAVY'S TD PASS IN OT

LSU vs Tennessee 2006

Speaks for itself. I'm sure Volunteer fans probably know of more instances than I do regarding his time there. I do know this, if you pull up the videos of all the late game meltdowns while Chavis coached at LSU, it's the same ole story.

Wish you hadn't brought facts in here, OP.

LSU fans - Buy your players all the whiskey and beer they can drink the week you play the Aggies. And tell Miles to give them the week off!

LSU will automatically convert all 3rd downs against the Aggies and this is the game Harris nails down his Heisman!

So, the fact that I had HUNDREDS of opportunities to get way ahead and FAILED to do so is IRRELEVANT? Those prior holes don't mean jack shite?

So, LSU's failure to score a single point in the first half against Ole Miss had NOTHING to do with the loss. It was all on Chavis?

Got it.

The vast majority of these threads are started by either Ags, or other fanbases specifically trolling LSU. Don't act new, bruh.
