Dirt Bag Day embarrassed the conference - LSU only embarrassed themselves.

so this is the purpose of your letter? So fricking noble of you. I'm sure Dr. Keenum is going to really take your expression to heart. He will probably print it out, frame it, and hang it in the MSU athletic building.

Na, not really. He will more than likely chortle loudly, print it out, and wipe his stink hole with it. ROFL

70 games x 140 plays a game = 9800 plays x 22 players per play = over 190,000 opportunities to Stomp another player... And it happened twice... ONLY TWICE. By the same douche bag player in the same game. And his response wasn't "I'm guilty..." Or, "I'm sorry" it was criminal's normal mantra "I'm innocent" ... and even then, not to the opposing team or the players he injured, but TO HIS OWN FRIGGIN FANS... Obviously to try and head off any criticism once he felt the PR storm brewing. This guy is a douche bag liar dirty piece of crap football player... That said... If he was on my college's team we'd probably love that "Screw You I Hate you attitude" a bunch too BECAUSE football is becoming a politically correct forum for all things Republican and Democrat... A massive piece of social engineering.

The only thing I'd add is despite the fact he did it twice against LSU, he also served a suspension for the same/similar actions last year after the Auburn game in which he also stomped a player (many Miss. papers, in particular, have said it's pretty much the same actions although I haven't seen the tape on that one).

At full speed, the main one shown against LSU could be written off but twice in a single game and at least 3 times overall?!

Doesn't add up.

If their not going to punish Lsu players for illegal hits, then I can't agree with Day's suspension. The fact that Miles lost in a very distressing way, compounded with the fact that Dak was out recruited from his backyard, makes him self conscious. This is his vow to lash back, not at Day so much, but at MSU's team and program.

Holy shite! Is this what the poster on page one of this thread talking about fans being vaginas? It's funny how the hardcore whining cuts both ways whenever something happens.

First off, I was one of the few who thought Dillon purposefully stomped on the two players and think one game suspension is deserved. Secondly, I thought you were just an overyly-apologetic pussy when you stated you were going to write a letter. After reading your letter, I now know you're an attention seeking pussy over-apologists. What in your letter do you think Keenum hasn't already known? What more do you want out of Keenum? Do you want Keenum to suspend him another game? Doesn't seem like it because you believe a one game suspension is a "fair punishment", so I don't see the point in your post other than to make yourself feel good as a little Miss "I did the write thing today and stood up for what I believe in". There's nothing wrong with that if it helps you sleep at night except for when you do it for attention which is exactly what you did by posting it on this or any other website. We didn't need to see your letter. Did you think we would think you're smart because you called LSU, "Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College"? Or in case we didn't realize how smart you were then, you'd use words like brethren and throw in "Class of XXXX" to let us all know that you're an educated man. Get over yourself. Day made a dirty play and has received the proper punishment in an appropriate amount of time. This entire situation has been blown out of proportion, and you are just being an arrogant, overly-apologetic arse.

Think about it this way - He is receiving hundreds of letters from alumni (that's where the Class of comment is relevant) that are bitching about the suspension and telling him that he has no nuts and he should stand up to the SEC because we are the stepchild, etc.

Receiving just one that basically says, I agree he did the wrong thing, I agree with the suspension, carry on - lets him know that there are at least some in the MSU community that do not like this trashy behavior.

Now, on to your comment.

The wall of text and the lack of paragraphs, as well as your railing on "my being an educated man," tells me that we may have found the elusive MSU sidewalk fan.

Comments like "I did the write thing" tell me that you are not an educated man. Nothing wrong with that - but the fact that I am educated has nothing wrong with it, either.

The LSU A&M comment is an inside joke between Keenum and myself. We regularly refer to them that way. That is their official name, by the way.

I've received a positive reply that indicates that Dr. Keenum is not happy with the publicity this has caused our great university, and he is taking additional steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. Contrary to some beliefs, Dan Mullen and Scott Stricklin do not run MSU.

The SEC suspended Day under Article 4.4.2 (d) which states that a student-athlete may be suspended if it is determined that he has committed a flagrant or unsportsmanlike act, and his actions were clearly flagrant. Day was suspended for half a game last season for a similar incident when he stomped on an Auburn player.

I didn't realize this was a letter from you to the MSU President. Now it makes more sense.

Good letter, and good on you for taking the time to write it. Leaders need to hear from the reasonable minority in times like these as well.

That's how the real world should work. Not many people see it that way anymore.
