In a selfish way, I hope Dillon Day sees that not everyone in the MSU nation condones his behavior.

I can understand where you're coming from there; I really can. It sucks because honestly, y'all get picked on a lot (we're outnumbered here and because we've sucked for the past few years we get sniped at a lot too).
But I will say, even though it's a different situation, when we found out RS Fr. Treyvon Paulk beat his ex-girlfriend Monday we were pretty well unanimous that a quick boot (happened Sat/Sun and he got the boot Mon) was the right thing to do and the more that's come out that's absolutely been justified.
To me, while beating a girl is far worse (in my eyes), intentionally trying to injure a player (and being as big as Day is it could take away a player's career) is pretty bad and Day stomped on two different players that game. We're not talking drugs/DUI but violence with intent not to play but harm.
Hope that explains where I'm coming from.

I'll upvote it but if this is what gets you a game suspension and we have other schools that give illegal drug use, sexual assaults, thefts, aggravated assaults, and all the other unethical acts that plague college football that just get swept under the rug and ignored, then Dillon Day is just your scapegoat because he's a member of a race with no recourse.

If their not going to punish Lsu players for illegal hits, then I can't agree with Day's suspension. The fact that Miles lost in a very distressing way, compounded with the fact that Dak was out recruited from his backyard, makes him self conscious. This is his vow to lash back, not at Day so much, but at MSU's team and program.

it is unfortunate that this behavior has overshadowed the biggest win in many years for Coach Mullen. It was a stupid play and stupid response.
And yes I personally took out knees for less than that, and had a perfect 11 cleat pattern in blood in my back. Response I got, "get off the fricking ground quicker son." and payback on a high low cut back right though his knee caps. But there was no halo rule and we were allowed to block in the back as well. And coaches routinely grabbed you by the face mask and pulled you to the bench and cussed you like a dog. We handled shite like this on our own. Everyone knew you cross the line and you are on your own. And lots of peoples football careers ended in high school in Mississippi in those years.
Those days are long gone, and this play belonged in my time. (Where the next play was payback.) Not now in these times.

Players dont HOP around with both feet parrellel, you run with one leg in front of the other. Damn right it was on purpose.If he would have tried to miss the player one foot would have been as bad as it could have been. A dam horse has more sense than this prick, they at least try not to stomp a fallen rider. And dont give me rodeo BS, its not the same thing.I hope he makes it to the NFL. The LSU players standing around should have adjusted his attitude then and there.

I recall a clip where 3 LSU players had tackled the MSU RB. (I think someone posted it I one of these threads earlier but I can't find it now.). At the end of the play, the LSU LB who bent him backwards was possibly #52. I recalled that seemed like frustration during live action. Anyway, it's just a theory.
I haven't seen a replay of the entire game, so I don't know the specific moment the play occurred or what the sequence was. But it appears that Day was in the frame with a good look at it.

I thought that one game for each offense was warranted since that was his second and third offense in one game. Additionally, he should have gotten a stern and rigid "last chance agreement" for his return.
