Whatever, Alabama has 26 national titles in 4 sports to LSU's 48 in 8 sports.

LSU's athletic program is CLEARLY the best in the conference - and has been for a long time.

Bama's got a looooong way to go.

I have never hated the Alabama program. I grew up a diehard LSU fan but always respected how good Alabama was. I do, however, have a very very strong dislike for Saban and his arrogant lying ways.

He's a big time winner but he hides behind lies. He doesn't care about Alabama or LSU. He just cares about himself. He has shown he doesn't care too much about his family either.

When you responded to a post regarding Bama being irrelevant in everything but football - in a thread titled:

"...LSU...Alabama...Saban?"

Your 4 titles last year do not make Alabama relevant in anything but football. Sorry.

Since when does winning a championship mean you aren't relevant?

Naw, I have hated your backwoods arse for a long time, decades before Saban.

Now that you have that two faced midget of a coach, it makes it only sweeter and easier to hate little bama..

It is nice to see that when you get all of your cheerleaders in a single line, that you can make a full set of teeth.

It only thing good about the state of Bama is the RTJ Trail and it is not as good as it use to be.

I hope to live another 30 years and I promise to hate bama the whole time.

It's cyclical.

I lived in Alabama several years ago when Auburn was good and Bama was just mediocre (pre-Saban). Then, it was the "hot" thing to do for hs kids to go to Auburn, cheer for Auburn, etc. The sidewalk fans came out and it was easy for us ALL to hate Auburn. Bama fans were fine.

But then Bama became good again (Saban years), Auburn declined, and every knuckle-dragging dbag sidewalk Bama fan showed up. And imo, Bama sidewalk fans are 10X worse than Auburn sidewalk fans.

The hate is cyclical, but it's so much easier to hate Bama fans, imo. Btw, I have more Bama friends than LSU or Auburn friends, but if I can generalize, the Bama fanbase has cornered the market on the insufferable crazies.

It's about who is winning, as someone else said.

When Tubs was at Auburn, most LSU fans hated Auburn. When Spurrier was at Florida, LSU fans hated Florida.

That's why I don't consider Alabama a rival at all. Once they go down again (as with all programs at some point), most LSU fans won't care much about Alabama.
