SportsCenter - “Hold that Tiger”

Posted by BamaTiger00 on 8/10/23 at 5:24 am
Just turned it on and saw the Astros highlights. Bregman hit a single to seal the deal and we got a “Hold that Tiger” from the anchor (didn’t recognize him - maybe new guy). Thought it was a CSB....

I’ve used these guys twice and would do it again. Ira, the owner, is a standup guy. My electricity bill on a 3K+ house is around $150/month right now in this heat and closer to $100 in cooler months. Neighbors pay $400+. It’s not cheap but worthwhile, imo, if you plan on staying in your house fo...

re: Is sling tv good

I used Sling for a while, but switched when they had a fallout with ESPN and I couldn’t watch some LSU games. Switched to YouTube TV and won’t go back. Also, Sling has no good option for local channels, which sucked. And as some have mentioned, Sling isn’t that much cheaper once you add everythin...
A few hours ago, the radar over uptown looked like rain from 5:00 pm through tomorrow morning. I thought they’d have to postpone it too. Radar now looks much better. Few showers around but nothing over the stadium. ...

re: Building Prices

Posted by BamaTiger00 on 2/10/23 at 2:31 pm
Before I got plans, I priced out a 27x30 pavilion already. Just the structure. No electrical, plumbing, concrete, etc. Nothing. Quotes ranged from 36k-58k. Covington area. ...

re: Building Prices

Posted by BamaTiger00 on 2/10/23 at 2:25 pm
Thanks. They think prices will come down due to material cost decreasing, economy slowing, building slowing down, high interst rates, not as many people with disposable income willing to spend it right now on projects, etc. Like I said, I’m doubtful but am not in the business and was curious what ...

Building Prices

About finished plans for an outdoor pavilion/kitchen and wanting to start getting quotes. Quotes on other smaller projects we finished recently were really high. Have been told by some people to wait a few months for construction prices to come down on this big project, but curious if anyone i...

I built a Murphy desk at the beginning of Covid when we were fully remote. I painted it and it sat about 7 inches off the wall when closed. Some good tutorials on YouTube. I’m back in the office full time now though. [img]https://i.postimg.cc/5yGj04Db/2821-CC15-2-B14-49-F4-AAB2-C8-FDB2-F62-C7...

Don’t know about price scaling but sounds pretty good to me. I have about a 275-300 sqft band to pour with no demo whatsoever and the cheapest of 4 quotes I got was $3,100. ...
I got it. You can edit/delete. Thanks. ...
You use them or do it yourself? I’m pretty handy. I can do the kitchen, but the structure is massive and needs a legit builder. ...

@success. Any way you’d be willing to discuss your project? Heard so many issues with this company and don’t want to use them if I don’t have to, but there are very few companies I’ve found who will do ours and it’s a big project. Getting desperate to just go with them and gut it out. ...
