“Which players got significantly better this year?”

I just don’t think Freeze really has what it takes to manage something as complex as a major college football program. He is an elite recruiter. But he, at best, is a just above average coach. And he seems to just be a horrible CEO, which a coach has to be. He probably will have some success and have a few upset wins along the way. And he will lose to some teams he has no business losing to. And when he leaves, or is forced to leave, in 3 to 6 years he will leave the Auburn program a pile of smoking rubble.

The last week sure has been a rollercoaster for Auburn fans on here. Just when they had convinced themselves they are back, Maryland drags their nuts all over them.

This is past 30 years, but did Pat Dye ( the guy AU's field is named after )have to step down as AD & coach amidst an NCAA investigation ?
