To sum up the LSU offseason

They now have the best OC in football, he would have replaced Belichick in NE but his heart was in Baton Rouge.

The DC is one of the top coaches in America, seems the admin somehow overlooked this when looking for a new HC.

The new head coach is a world beater, he learned from all his past stops and now is the worlds greatest.

The truth is the OC got fired for his performance the last time he faced a SEC team, the DC is greatly overated as Les always had a good Defense and who knows what the orangutan learned, he could not share it with anyone without colors and poster board.

You Tiger fans are a special bunch, the passion runs deep.

almost every similar opponent with the exception of bama that Auburn/LSU played, the team who played Auburn scored fewer pts. Now what does that say about your Defensive coordinator now.

So you use the transitive property then don't even get the info correct.

Solid.

I love how lsu fans convince themselves they'll be good because their head coach won't coach.

So, not "all but Bama" scored more on LSU then? Thanks for proving me right.

Proving you wrong isn't a reach. You tried to make a point, and failed.

Sorry.

I haven't said he was. So, another fail.

Good job.

You need to ban yourself. You're getting dominated in this discussion. Obviously, there's no way to "prove" he's the 3rd best coach. It's an opinion. However, RB10 and multiple others have made some pretty convincing arguments that Aranda is a very good coach, thereby lending some support to this OPINION. You, on the other hand, with a few of your mentally challenged plains brothers, continue to make the straw man argument that Aranda isn't good because LSU lost to team "X". I don't remember anyone arguing that LSU was the best team in the conference last year. And as was pointed out, none of our losses were exactly shootouts. They were due to an inept offense. You really are bad at this.

Actually a lot of LSU fans wanted Aranda over O. Aranda has shown to be very detail oriented and had his defenses well prepared for every game. If we were going to hire from within, we should have given Aranda a shot instead of O.

Those games where you jump out to a 21-24 pt lead in the 2nd quarter are hard though, because you get ahead and then you get stuck in the not wanting to keep being aggressive mode and the make them take time to come back mode and your players minds wander and then it's impossible to snap back in.

We've had multiple games like that the last few years (Ole Miss and Arkansas last year) and it destroys your stats but gives your coaches stuff to lay into their arse about in a win.

I agree, but was just pointing out that Aranda has faults like all coaches. He certainly got his defense back right against the Heisman winner.

What DA did at Wisc with much less is far more commendable than what Pruitt did at the three programs you listed

Why? Wisconsin is routinely one of the best teams in that league that doesn't have near the offensive skill from top to bottom as this one. Pruitt has coached in 3 national championship games

At Alabama..our QB's actually improve. I know you wouldn't know anything about a good QB though. I forgive you.
