It would be a good hire for LSU, but Gus might lose his job next year. Would Craig be ready to kiss and make up after 1 year? That would be my only concern

Auburn says that's part of why he's looking around. He doesn't get to Coach. Sounds like Gus is a control freak.

This is from the guy who runs their 247 site:

Also lol at the A&M troll. Their fat drunk coach is begging brick Haley to come over there so they can maybe get the scrap pile recruits he landed for UT. Very pathetic program these days.

So many articles on how underdeveloped our top linemen were and horrible sack statistics to link if Chavis really brings Brisket Brick to CS.

It would shock me if we could get Craig. Guys at his level in that type of situation are huge leverage risks. It wouldn't surprise me if it just increases the price of doing business for Auburn. You gotta try to get him though.

I imagine Craig has already vested. He's been paid at Auburn going back to his playing days.

agreed

it might make sense for him if he thinks Gus is in trouble

get off that sinking ship and not have that taint if ultimately he wants to be Auburns head man

I don't think it has anything to do with Gus being in trouble.

It has been shared before that he is not on best of terms with Lashlee. I believe Craig wants more input into game planning and listened to during the game for some plays to be ran.

I believe this to be the case more than anything.

He was paid well. Too bad LSU is too poor to pay their players.

Craig is a great recruiter (something LSU doesn't lack), but is not the best WRs coach. He should be coaching QBs
(see FSU), but Gus has his golden boy. That is the problem that AU fans have over this situation. It seems Gus is picking Lashlee over an AU legacy.

I can't imagine he would get that as the WR coach at LSU either.

What choice are they on now?

2nd or 3rd, but he was the one they really wanted. He would also be a huge upgrade over what they had. LSU ALWAYS gets huge upgrades. Chavis to Steele to whoever it is this week.

To have the best of everything, I'm surprised they can't seem to keep coaches.

He won't but it's obvious he feels a separation is needed.

Coaches from programs of years gone by flip flopping coaches. Nice

I thought you massively upgraded from Chavis? When do you have the best DC in the country, and how bad have your DC's been exactly?

Wat?

Aranda has had a Top 10 defense 3 years running. Steele's defenses, yeah, not so much.

Is there a reason you're menstruating all over this thread, other than the UGA little man syndrome
