And this has been my point, that so many apparently are missing. You guys are acting like any other fan base. We act this way with recruits, coaches, you name it. If somebody (Coach, recruit) goes to another school they were garbage, wasn't wanted, etc. The person you get is a huge upgrade.

You guys just seem to take it to another level, sometimes.

LSU fans must have rustled you really bad. This is random from a Georgia fan.

Nah. You are all just missing my point.

I don't mind LSU, really. I was born in Baton Rouge and grew up a LSU fan. I just find LSU fans funny, now. Not in a bad way. Just fun to watch the melts, bragging, expectations, etc.

(I'm also taking a short break from trolling Auburn fans.)

Yes. I did. They dropped a lot of balls. They dropped more this year. Catchable balls also.

Since so many LSU fans said Steele and Ball were massive upgrades, I should be able to find a ton of posts stating this. Looks like I can't. Since you read this so much, can you tell me where you saw this?

Adam Henry left LSU and went to the NFL. Ball was then hired. Nobody thought Ball would be an upgrade after Henry developed Beckham, Landry, etc. Shut up. Many called for Ball to be gone throughout this season.

Most LSU fans said the Steele hire would be the end for Miles. It would be a recruiting upgrade and that was about all we could hang on to.

It was all over this board homie. It started with Steele after the initial outrage over Chavis sprinting to AnM like beach scene in Chariots of Fire and peaked in the weak part of the LSU schedule.

Ummm did you see Auburn's QBs??? Did you see their wideouts the year before when they had qb who could get them the ball. Don't act like Sammie Coates, Ricardo Louis, Quan Bray and CJ Uzomah weren't balling in a run heavy offense.

Yep. Marshall, not known as a passing QB and Jeremy Johnson who sucked hard this year, posted nearly 3000 yards 62% completion at a hefty 9 yards per attempt with 23 TDs to 7 ints. That would rank as the 4th best passing season in the last 10 years for LSU. shite, it probably ranks higher for Auburn.

Once again, those wideouts dropped a lot of Marshalls throws as well and dropped passes all over the place this year.

5 of those players made NFL Rosters this year. That being said, they ran bad routes and dropped passes while at AU.

You weren't here last off season, then, were you?

I sure can. Right here last off season, and I have a whole board as witnesses.

Then none of those fans are on this board and this board is NOT representative of LSU fans. How do you do it? You manage to get all the fringe fans on this board and all the sensible ones stay away? Amazing!

I hope this answered your questions and could help you out.

Does anyone seriously believe Craig would be a candidate for HC if Gus gets canned after next season?

I just don't see that being a realistic possibility.

They are talking about coming back as an OC (if he does leave for LSU).

Craig will not just be a WR coach for LSU. If not Juluke, he will be the recruiting coordinator. It's most likely he'll be a Co-OC and help coach the QBs.

A lot of LSU fans did hype him up, but personally I was just glad to get away from Chavis.

Links? I need 5 instances where LSU fans actually hyped Steele up. It was a freaking meltdown on TD when he was announced as the DC. The ONLY saving grace in that whole debacle was getting Ed O.

I think I can see you guys winning 3-4 straight National Championships and making everybody forget Bama's run.

I'd like to see the links from people calling either of those hires massive upgrades. Tony Ball was a meh hire and Steele was an awful hire from jump. I just believe that was all that could be done at the time though.

LSU is going beast mode this offseason. If we get Craig it's much more than just getting a WR coach. Getting Craig is more a change in offense.

Whether he stays at Auburn or goes to LSU his head coach will be fired next year anyway.
