Some Explain why the BCS factor is not This,

LSU 1+1+1=3
Bama 2=2+3 =7
OSU 3+3+2 = 8

I wonder why the Computers 1/3 of the product is allowed to trump 2/3 at any time.

Because it is based on points not actual position. If every voter voted the same way, your situation would make sense.

It'll be Oklahoma state IMO

Based on the coaches and AP, I actually think there is a decent chance OSU is #2 in Harris poll

And Massey and Wolfe polls arent even out, so I'm not sure where people are getting that. At this point, bama is 2 in only 1 computer. And that one will be tossed

What we've been hearing is that OK St will have 4/6 of the computers and Bama has the coaches by 32 points. That puts them at nearly a dead heat, doesn't it, or shouldn't it? If Bama has half the computers that would make it harder for OK St.

Ergo, the Harris poll is what will decide the outcome - the word on the street is that OK St needs ~5 more votes than Bama to be certain of the BCSNCG and anything between that and Bama leading by ~30 is up in the air. Harris monitoring thread here, OK st currently has a small lead in early returns: LINK

Why would you bookmark my post? Even if Bama does somehow get the Massey poll your friend is still wrong in his assertion. That site wasn't updated this morning

It's a shame that some voters have OK State at 4th behind Stanford.

What? Have Bama play an extra game while LSU is in the clubhouse? I've read somewhere that situation would be incredibly unfair.

Well, you are already back 1 game and so is OSU. You would be playing catchup.

Really? OK. I just thought I'd read here ad nauseum about how unfair it was for LSU to have to play the SECCG while Bama was in the clubhouse.
