But, wait, you said "With "top 10" talent, Auburn finds themselves behind Arkansas and their "top 30" talent in the SEC West Standings more years than not."
Is that not so now?

Huh? He had a solid career, we didn't lose games during his career because of QB play.

I think it was proven last night that these guys lack in the reading comp department.

i think lsu is a good developmental coach away from being a true terror. I honestly am not concerned in the grand scheme of things about lsu as long as les is there. it's not that he's not a good coach i think he's just flamed out and tired plus he's got a ring already.
i think if you put mullen at lSU in 3 years they would win a championship

These Auburn fans are making a case for overtaking Alabama fans as the most obnoxious on the board, IMO.
WTF is wrong with Alabama?

Totally disagree, have nothing against him but we won in spite of him many times.

Are you serious? Arkansas beats their off-season chests as much as anyone else on here. The only difference is, others (like Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee) actually know how to win something meaningful.

Fair enough.
Does that automatically equate to BB taking over top dog in the conference? With the good run at QB you've described, you would think UA would have had more success judging from the chest beating you see on here.
Good ribbing and banter again>>>AU is one of 6 schools of whom have consistently won the conference. My whole thing is that should the board be so enamored with Arky, I would love to see actual successes be earned on the field. Enough of this 'good coach' and 'the right way' shite.
This is all just my opinion, of course.

Tom Osborne kicked arse at Nebraska without recruiting top classes.
Scout, Rivals, 24/7, etc. weren't even around then, so your statement is as full of shite as Bielema's bloated stomach.
quote:
He built his program the same way Bielema is going about building his. He focuses on character, targetting kids that are going to work hard in the classroom as well as on the field. Players may not even see the field until their junior season, but by the time they're seniors, they are physically superior to the players that they're lining up against. Nebraska would straight up maul your arse into the ground and this is the same approach Bielema is taking. Strong walk-on program as well.
This is all a bunch of revisionist bullshite.
quote:
Hell, Bielema proved he could field an elite team at Wisconsin despite not recruiting at an elite level. Back-to-back-to-back conference titles is a big deal for any coach, in any conference.
He coached the shittiest division in a shite conference that got beat when he met a good football team.
quote:
frick the Auburn fan that wants to argue this. He is wrong and anyone with a functioning brain knows it. It's rare, but some coaches CAN build elite programs despite recruiting disadvantages.
We said the same stupid shite when Tubs started getting his arse handed to him in recruiting by Saban. You dumb fricks will learn too, just like we told you about Petrino.
quote:
Another thing that is going to pay dividends for Coach B is this Being Bret Bielema show ESPNU is airing. It's like free publicity for the UofA and Coach B, who seems to be a hell of a good dude to go play for.
Nobody gives two shits about this fat frick other than you arky fans...

Yes because this was started by an Arky fan

I'll talk with Coach B and see if he'll let me suit out for a couple games. Maybe I can show the team a little something about how winners roll.
I assume we can expect the same from you? You act like these fans from these other programs have some sort of influence on the games with their shitty behavior.

Do you feel better about yourself eliciting support from other pigs?
Here was my question directed to you, again. I feel as though it's fair. Care to answer or will you be pandering for help again?
"what's wrong with proving your worth as opposed to beating your chest"

We had shitty recruiting on the defensive side of the ball during that same span.
Bert actually gives a shite about defense something his predecessors did not, so time will tell. He is the first "defensive" minded HC we've hired in the modern era, and unlike most "defensive" minded HCs he doesn't seem willing to sacrifice his offense to help his defensive stats like Muschamp for example.
