I believe that if Arkansas sticks with Coach Bielema they will receive some awesome payback in return. Currently, Coach Saban stands in his way from taking Arkansas to the top of the conference and also in the country. Coach Bielema did an outstanding job at Wisconsin and is in position to do the same in Fayetteville. Once Coach Saban decides to hang it up, if Coach Bielema is still at Arkansas, I look for him and Arkansas to become the premier coach and football program in the conference. Just my thoughts on the issue, flame away.

I had not thought of that happening, but doubt that he would leave. He appears to be a loyal individual at a university if he is taken care of by the school. I think at Wisconsin he just had enough of Alvarez

Probably longer than you have been alive

I was just giving an opinion, not in favor of it happening but believe there is an excellent possibility

I think one of the 3 NFL teams in Florida is our biggest competitor for Bert.

The part of me that loves to watch the world burn would be interested in the meltdowns from both sides if LSU stole him.

You exclude Saban and there isn't a HC in the SEC I'd rather have.

There are very few HCs on the college level who I would see as an upgrade over Bert.

He's proving to be a long term planner and had a track record of improvement. The thing that hinders them is recruiting due to location. Not berating AR, but it truly is an Achilles Heal.

He is offsetting the recruiting disadvantages by building a red-shirt program and a strong walk-on program.

The red-shirt program has proved to be beneficial for Michigan State currently and Nebraska during their hey day. It takes years to reap the rewards of this process, we will see the benefits going forward.

The walk-on program is seeing guys who normally would go to stAte/UCA/UAPB and similar pay their way, worst case scenario they improve the scout team from years past, best case a few of these guys actually contribute during their four years, it is a win-win situation for the program.

Coach Bielema is a very good coach. To get to the top of the conference and the country Arkansas will have to recruit higher level athletes.

Agree with you about Bielema's coaching ability and I think he is an elite coach. Bielema has improved the image of Arkansas and runs a clean program, the fans love him and he brings excitement to the game.

It is until we get the player on campus.

Northwest Arkansas is arguably a top 3 location to live in the SEC.

Getting the rule changed to allow the school to pay for the parent's trip to the campus for the OV isn't going to hurt Arkansas...

yep, each year he's been here we've had more players redshirt than his previous year. This year he's going to have the most redshirts he's ever had here. Will pay off later on.
