No doubt fournette was better than Chubb while he was injured.

LF can run around you, through you, over you, under you. It doesn't matter. The dude is a monster. His measureables + speed, vision, acceleration, agility alone make him a rare talent. Chubb is not a guy you can look at and say this guy is unlike any back I have seen in a long time. If you count the couple of long runs(60+ yds) that got called back on holding penalties and the Mcneese state game he surpasses 2200yds last year which is ridiculous. Even without that he was the nations rushing leader. It's pretty foolish to think Chubb is better or more valuable to a team than LF. He will be a top3 pick soon enough

This isn't a beauty contest, and last time we saw a guy look as good as LF was Todd Gurley, who was not a long time ago.

That this is not a beauty contest? Only a fool would think otherwise.

Gurley and Chubb are fragile. They can't play a whole season.

Fournette is a player you can build a team around.

Dang, did you just jinx your player? I would worry after making this post if I were you.

If Bama didn't have 9 of 11 starters in I would agree with you.

This doesn't change what I posted. Most people use the stats to act like he was effective when he wasn't.

Neither Chubb nor Fournette were effective against Alabama. Chubb just managed to avoid the bad stat line with his last touch while Fournette couldn't salvage anything.

but you don't even understand what apples to oranges means.

I do.

It means comparing YPC for two RBs who had 487 carries and 311 carries.

I mean, if that's the stat, Guice beats them both with 8.5 ypc on 51 carries.

LF is 2-0 vs Florida with 320 yds on 58 carries, Chubb is 0-2 vs Florida with 156 yds on 21 carries.

How do like them apples.

Starters up 35 late are not playing like they did when the game was in doubt. If you think otherwise you are fooling yourself.

That can go both ways, right? Maybe Chubb just doesn't give up as easily as fournette did.

Guice is a rarely used backup, while the other 2 are starters.

How did I know you'd show up and still try to shite on Fournette. It's like clockwork.

Took 58 carries to get 320? Not as impressive as you think.

Giving a rb credit in a team game? You can't be serious.

Dude, Guice has played in 11 games.
Chubb has played in 19 games.
Fournette has played in 25 games.

Fournette has almost 200 more carries than Chubb. You need to let Chubb have some more carries before you compare them.

You really can't compare them at this point, luckily dfor all of us, they're not done yet.

I already admitted he is the best looking rb in a uniform since Gurley way back in 2014. Also, he way outrushed Chubb after Chubb got hurt. What more do you want?

Honestly, for you to stop whining when some LSU fans don't give Chubb the credit he deserves because you do the same exact thing to Fournette. In fact, you do it to every non-UGA running back when comparison threads are made. You're a unabashed homer and all the evidence needed to prove that is in this very thread.

Any other? There is no other sec rb in the best discussion outside of these 2.

1.3 yards per carry in a similar offense for starters is in fact a large difference. Don't confuse that statement of fact with whining.
