I've received word that the Auburn Secret Gestapo has been disbanded for their failures in this endeavor and the Auburn Secret Border Patrol is in some really hot water. I'll keep you guys posted.

I was told that because of the high cost of the tickets and the temptation of selling tickets above cost (NCAA violation), all player guest tickets (6 per)names were cleared at the gate. If he came in on a ticket issued from AU, they would know about it.

settle down charlotte. This hasn't even been going on near the duration of the made up Gadsden stuff yet. With the NCAA still digging, look for it to continue for a good long while. It took yrs for Means to come to an end, same with Bush. Tennessee's is still going for a year almost now and Lsu hasn't finished with theirs yet with the final dispostion and that's over a year old. Hunker down, because it's gonna be a long haul.

You bammers are holding on to this with all your life. Big difference between all your examples and Cams case. The evidence from the begining showed the violations (car, homes etc.) . There was not a mob of reporters trying to find dirt without success. The NCAA did not come out and clear the athlete at anytime during the investigation. The long hual will just be bama's frustation over nothing happening, just like the short haul.

talk about clinging on. You're still talking about proven, made up stuff. While the NCAA is breathing down Auburn's neck. I'm not frustrated in the least. I am however amused by Aubie's like yourself who are reaping the real deal on things you tried to insinuate Bama was doing. Watch your tracks, they're being followed.

I agree that AU couldn't keep him away as a regular fan.
But when the AD issues a statement that Auburn and the Newtons have reached an agreement that for the good of Cam and the team, Cecil will stay in the hotel and THEN Cecil shows up anyway.............
That tells me the AU AD and the Newtons did discuss it and Cecil did what he wanted - agreement be damned.
Of course, Cecil is a sneaky bastard - I'm sure Jay Jaocbs didn't know.

Of course not. That's the new Au creed. I dunno. The fact that there are multiple stories of him being at the game, not being at the game, nobody being able to tell where he got his ticket and no comments is just par for the course.

For the ncaa to allow Cam to continue to play, Auburn and Daddy agreed to him staying away from the program. Daddy broke his promise once he got what he and Auburn wanted.... Cam to be eligible and play until the season is over. Then it's FU NCAA...ha

How funny would it be, if everything was cleared, but it was found that Cam got his dad the ticket and because of the agreement, the only punishment Au received was a vacate of the NC.

Cecil got his ticket from an Oregon fan who is the best friend of my cousins best friends wife.
