Not the way you quoted it. No.
You said it was a fact that AU couldn't do more than they did. You then accused AU fans of asking what more AU could have done and rolled your e-eyes and said come on man.

Where did I go wrong and saying that didn't make sense?

Playing devils advocate... what if Cam gave him one of the tickets allotted to him? Technically, Auburn wouldn't have given him the ticket, and they could make that statement.

Cam's involved in the Auburn program, I think that would count as "Auburn giving Cecil a ticket"

Regardless, the Auburn Secret Gestapo failed us. I think it was all the budget cuts to afford such high profile football players.

We should have reported him to Homeland Security (as a terrorist to the NCAA)

Not really. There's been alot of fine tooth combing in the statements and rules already in this case. I can see Auburn giving the players the tickets. From that point on, Auburn would consider themselves out of the loop of what's done with them. Then Cam giving his dad a ticket. Under that scenario, it wouldn't be hard for Auburn to claim they didn't give him a ticket. That's no more ludicrous an explanation than what's been given from the Au admin throughout this entire ordeal.

Maybe Auburn should have locked him up in a cage before the NC game.

You know, like Mark Ingram's dad.

1. Auburn made an agreement with Cecil not to come to game due to NCAA pact.

2. Cecil Newton is an admitted cheat/liar.

3. Cecil Newton doesn't honor agreement.
(Shocking!!)

4. Now Auburn fans act like there was nothing they could have done to stop him...and they're probably right.

Point: Shouldn't have been making deals with cheats and liars to begin with.

I don't know why that was so hard.

I dont guess Cam is as "All In" as everybody thinks he is. If he had, he might would have told his crooked arse dad that he should consider staying away from this one because it's gonna make matters worse for the "family" and our family as well.

Him going to Heisman ceremony, I would have had a problem with. Him going to a public event where you can buy your own ticket, not so much.

Christ(ine) mentions a possible lack of institutional control. I don't know about all that, but like I said, Cecil and his lawyer are not the two sharpest tools in the Barn. That speaks volumes about the next chapter coming up in the saga. Stay tuned! SVP
