This is not an improvement.

If they do this, do away with divisions.
No need for standings if we are just going to vote about who we "feel" is the best.

Now you have to earn it. This will be a popularity contest.

Agree. No fixed opponents.

Would be a tough sell getting rid of Alabama/Auburn rivalry and similar games as conference games.

Obviously you didn't watch the the TCU vs Baylor game this year

I like divisions. I like permanent cross division rivals. I don't like 8 conference games. Needs to be 9.

I'd rather 10 than 9. Balanced home/away. Add in one P5, one cupcake, and two byes.

I think 9 is more balanced as you have a historically equal cross division rival, then one historically strong and one historically weak cross division opponent.

This would fix the schedule. Been discussed before.

Of course, it could also pit a 9-0 team against an 8-1 team. The 8-1 team could win the rematch, and then the debate continues.

Yep, it's the only chance for Missouri to make it to the SECCG.

You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Having lived in Ft. Worth, TX, I can tell you TCU and Baylor have large, rabid fanbases. That can and will easily fill up a stadium.

Wow....that was thorough. He wouldn't need divisions now though.

I like the deregulation.
Get rid of the divisions top 2 records play for title
2 permanent rivals. 6 rotating home and home.
You play the entire conference home and home over 4 years

This also allows for the power five to have their champs move into 8 game playoff with 3 at large.

There's nothing special about the rest of the division.

The last 11 years the west has won 6 National Titles and had another 2 teams in the title game that lost. But keep showing your ignorance. Carry on

Big XII should just go back to fricking 12. I prefer it if everyone has a title game, so I'm cool if they stay at 10 and get one, I just think they should at least go to 12.

As for the SEC, I like that 3-5 idea that was floating around. Everyone has 3 rivals they play each year (Bama would have Auburn, Tennessee, LSU) and the other 5 rotate each year. So in 4 years everyone has played everyone home and away.

Bad examples, honestly. Not historical at all.

I'd miss the annual LSU/Bama, LSU/Ole Miss, LSU/FL games for sure though.

I do too. Just play the 3 closest schools annually (Auburn, Georgia, and South Carolina for us).

Ditch Arkansas, keep A&M

I'd really miss the Ole Miss & Alabama games
