The current rule will be deregulated in '16. Thus allowing the Big 12 to have a title game with only 10 teams.

of interest to the SEC though, this also deregulates the rule that you must have divisions. In theory, the division's could be done away with and a new method for determining the two title game participants could be drawn up.

This may lead to more big changes for CFB.

This is dumb, but if they want to do that to themselves, whatever. At least they won't be playing regular season games on champ weekend anymore though.

So they're going to play everyone else in their conference...then play a CCG? Why?

Not interested. I like having divisions.

Could be interesting. Doing away with permanent divisions could be a way to rotate through all 13 opponents more regularly.

With the Big 12, this will help mishaps like the TCU/Baylor split title.

I think the world knows TCU would have beaten Baylor in a rematch, but it could never be proven.

Yep, it's the only chance for a team from the East to make it to the SECCG.

What would you West guys do if you couldn't blow each other constantly though?

There have been quite a few times we would have made it to atlanta without divisions, but troll on.

The rotation definitely needs to be fixed. We won't see A&M in Lexington for the first time until 2025 currently. That's ridiculous.

Only because you got to feast on the east. That would go away. You would be screwed.

Why on Earth would an Alabama fan knight for the West? There's nothing special about the rest of the division.

Division and not conference records should decide who plays in the title game.

It would be tough, but we would make do since we would all get to rape Mizzou more often.

Great point. I retract my previous statement.

Probably should just rework the divisions to Alabama and Not Alabama. Winner of the Not Alabama division plays Alabama in Atlanta every year.

Because by blowing the rest of the West members it makes Bama look better by proxy.
