That's cool and all, but what the frick has Miles and LSU done lately? They've been pretty much average, especially by their standards, since 2011. 2012-2015 are extremely forgettable years, and with expectations of a great year, possibly a CFB playoff/National Title year, it looks like it will be another year like in 2012-2015 where we do nothing special, and it will continue to be that way if Les Miles is the coach at LSU. I know I'm playing a broken record here, but Miles needs to go ASAP.

Next year is a rebuilding year too and things could go very far south if Miles is retained. LSU is going to lose a lot to the NFL.

All you have to do is look at his record in the SEC West since 2012 and he's turning LSU into Arkansas and losing to them as well.

Also they've lost something like 4 out of their last 6 games, with no signs of anything changing.

So the problem for UGA was not Richt; it is UF. Until UF or UGA decides to join the ACC, I don't foresee a coaching change really changing anything.

Richt had more issues than just UF, but losing to awful UF teams in 2014 and 2015 sped up the process of firing him.

Richt's biggest issue, IMO, was starting in 2005, the quality of coaching in the SEC improved dramatically. Florida went from Zook to Meyer, USCe went from Holtz to Spurrier, Miles got it going at LSU, and Alabama got Saban two years later. Those four were all better coaches than Richt and it showed on the field in his later years.

Also, his inability to have two good coordinators at the same time from 2005 (when Martinez took over for BVG) through 2013 and again in 2015 hurt his cause. Losing Bobo and hiring Schottenheimer to replace him was basically the end for Richt.

An LSU has had more problems than just beating bama.

I'll say this.. You've managed to do the impossible. You actually have LSU fans arguing with you that tdecline is and has been real.

Go peruse the TR for a few seconds and you'll see that many are in agreement with that statement.

I didn't say they haven't. I don't know the specifics of LSU's bigger picture issues (not tailoring the offense to fit the QB's skills is certainly one of them) but that was just my take on the downfall of Richt.

Correct

I was staying on topic

Read Kyle's asinine posts

I understand he is trolling but it'd be a better troll from another fan base. Not one that just fired their successful coach

That's what I meant. It was a little convoluted, my statement.

LSU fans have unrealistic expectations because Saban and Bama have set the bar so high.

Last 5 regular season games
Bama 16 points
Arkansas 14 points
Ole Miss 17 points
A&m 19 points
Wisconsin 14 points

All of this avgs out to 16 points a game where you supposedly have the best rb in the nation and supposedly one of the best receiving corps in the nation. I guess hoping to score at least 30 in a conference game with this talent is an unrealistic expectation.

People can break down stats and wins and losses and blather on about Saban and Alabama but putting myself in the shoes of an LSU fan, I would be feeling the same way most of them are now about Les Miles and I wouldn't need numbers or stats to justify my feelings.

LSU fans were told by Les Miles and players and people close to the program all off season that last November was a huge wake up call for Miles and his coaches and his players. That they had worked all summer to change things up. That they had a new found hunger and drive. That Brandon Harris had improved leaps and bounds. That the 2016 LSU Tigers were a faster, better, hungry team.

And then they go out last Saturday and do the same tired shite that they did last November.

As a hypothetical LSU fan, at that point I don't give two hoots about what Les Miles did in 2007 or 2011 or any other season in the past because it would be clear to me that either Les Miles is too stubborn to change or to stupid to change or doesn't even know how to change or just doesn't care enough to change.

That alone would make me want him gone.

Now, back to reality, as a Bama fan I would love for LSU to keep Les Miles forever but I 100% understand how what happened last Saturday at Lambeau Field has driven LSU fans to the point of no return.

If LSU had come out and run a "new" offense and looked energized and motivated but still lost? I don't think you'd be seeing such a universal outcry. But the fact that Miles and Cameron rolled out the same old shite? Hell, I'm mad on their behalf.

All the stats analysis in the world can't change how LSU fans FEEL about what they saw on Saturday - the same old tired shite that can't win ballgames any longer.

Honestly? I don't think it is the site that has a hard time deciding that answer.

All of you sec fans just want LSU to keep miles SO DAMN BAD don't you? You can post all the stats you want but the man is clueless and literally a retard at offensive schemes and adjustments. The most creative play on LSUs offense the last 3 years is the Toss dive..... TOSS FRICKING DIVE.
