I'm not sure about the Louisiana side but on the Texas side Housen has a lot of grass. We caught them this past weekend working main lake points on the edge of grass lines with a carolina rig (brush hogs) and some on a rattle trap. ...
Went last weekend. Caught two in three days. Going again today for the weekend. Hope to atleast double that number. :lol:...

You'll enjoy it and you will see plenty of deer. It was in the teens this morning and has been in the mid twenties for most of the week. The winds have been in the 20-30MPH range, which is normal for this area. Dress warm. ...
