um, an 11 win team makes the playoffs and will be winning SEC titles, so yeah. Last time LSU was a perennial 11+ win team, they won the west 3 times in 7 years. if you don't think there's much of a difference between 9 wins and 11, I don't know what to tell you

And why should any of that scare me? LSU will be a great football team. It would be pathetic if something like that scared anyone.

This might be a better way of putting it. Are you scared of Bama?

amazing UGA fired Richt with the 2nd best SEC record since 2012. I mean, do they expect Kirby to do any better?

No

You are using that term very loosely maybe that is our misunderstanding.

Of course you do. Everyone does. The idea of LSU having a competent coach with all this talent would be scary.

Do SEC records since 2012 for all SEC teams

Regular Season:

1. Alabama: 28-4
2. Georgia: 23-9
3. Florida: 21-11
4. LSU: 20-12
5. Texas A&M: 17-15
5. Miss. St.: 17-15
5. Ole Miss: 17-15
5. Missouri: 17-15
9. S. Carolina: 16-16
10. Auburn: 13-19
11. Vanderbilt: 11-21
11. Tennessee: 11-21
13. Arkansas: 9-23
14. Kentucky: 4-28

Keep in mind though, LSU played 4 teams that played for National Titles or made it to the CFB Playoff (Bama in '12, '14, '15... AU in '13).

Georgia played just two of those teams... and Florida played just one. If you take that into consideration, you could make an argument that LSU has been the 2nd best program in the league even since 2012.

I honestly hate when people on here use the word "scared"

Opposing fans of every fanbase would of course be "happier" were every other coach in the conference incompetent. Those same fans would also be "less happy" should any of the other coaches turn out to be incredibly competent.

Nobody is "scared" of any other teams though.

Hate to break it to you, bruh, but Bama has won the SEC West 5 times in the last 8 years (2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015).

That is more of an indictment of your division than anything. LSU has not lost to a SEC East opponent since 2013.

In 2014 LSU only had 2 wins against the SEC West. That was the fewest since 2008.

No, NFLU hasnt. LSU has the most players in the nfl at 41. Bama is 6 on the list. So that fact should let you know our talent is more than there.

The real reason is losing to saban. Had they beaten bama the week before, the wiscy loss would be a non issue. If they upset bama this year but go 8-4 miles is as safe as any coach in america. Losing to saban magnifies other losses. Havent heard much lsu talk about how they have to beat arkie have u? Saban doesnt coach there.

To be the best, you have to beat the best. Right now, the best is Bama.

The SEC has added two universities and I believe every school (other than LSU) has had coaching changes.

Going back to the beginning of Miles' coaching era at LSU isn't reflective of the current situation or representative of the current changes in the conference.
