Look in the mirror, bub.

Secondly, I've never wavered on my opinion of Les. He's a tard or pretends to be one when it fits his agenda. His humor and coaching skills have always been overrated, imo. But I do hope you all get hosed again at the last minute and are stuck with him again next season.

Watching LSU try to play offense last Saturday sucked all of the excitement about this season out of the fanbase. We have looked like dogshit in all of our losses since 2013 and many of our wins. We have averaged 16 points in the last 5 conference games. And Les has given us exactly nothing to think things will change. He was an elite coach. Not anymore.

LSU fans have unrealistic expectations because Saban and Bama have set the bar so high.

Sad our fans don't have a memory a heart an confidence in our players an coaches. Especially one that's been the best at LSU period. Not only are you expecting a national championship look what noise an negative shite you bring to our players while preparing for a game. Some fans.

You say that, but ask the other 12 SEC schools (obviously excluding Bama) whether they would trade us their guy for Les. No one would agree to it. Yet we can't do better?

All that matters in that entire post. Why? Because Miles hasn't shown that he's capable of stopping it.

I'm sure you wanted to keep Richt too

No I did not. But again, Georgia had been "down" for far longer.

Final Year Rankings for Mark Richt and Georgia:

2009: NR
2010: NR
2011: 19
2012: 5
2013: NR
2014: 9
2015: NR

After finishing in the Top 25 for twelve consecutive seasons... including the 4 years prior to Richt's arrival... Georgia finished unranked 4 times in 7 seasons. THAT is a downwar slide. Had it not been for 2012 in which we were literally one play away from beating Alabama and therefore likely winning a National Title, he would have been fired sooner. But that saved him and gave him a few more years.

Now check LSU with Miles:

2012: #14
2013: #14
2015: NR
2016: #16

Compared to 2001-2011, there has certainly been a slide. But that "slide" consists of three Top 16 finishes in four seasons. LSU has failed to finish in the Top 25 just twice under Miles (2008 and 2015).

That is no where close to the slide Georgia experienced with Richt. And Richt never took us to the highs that Miles took LSU either (2 National Title Game appearances).

Quite a slide from #2 down to #6

How about losses to unranked opponents, or bowl losses?

right? It's so unrealistic to expect a 4 star QB to complete a forward pass 55-60% of the time

or to not be shut out in 10 of the last 20 quarters of football

so unrealistic

we get it, you think LSU should be content with top 16 and LSU fans would prefer to see a QB complete a forward pass

we can just agree to disagree kyle

You are the second best program in the SEC.... over pretty much any time span you want to check during the last decade. I'm sure it sucks to be #2 when you've been so close so many times. But unless you plan on hiring Saban back, I'm not sure you are going to get much better than what you've already been.

People can make the comparison to Mark Richt all day long... but its not the same. There was far more room for improvement with Richt as there is with Les.

LSU finished 1st in the West in 2011, 2nd in 2012, 3rd in 2013, T4th in 2014, and T3rd last year. This year does not look promising at all. LSu has not been the second best program in the SEC since they last won the SEC

Everyone in our conference should have the same expectation. The SEC is the best conference in CFB, so why wouldn't you want your team to be the best in the conference? If that's not the goal every year- then Ive been doing this fan thing all wrong.
