Obviously, the BAMA/LSU game is more meaningful in terms of poll rank, winning the west, championship opportunities, etc.

But in terms of rivalry, I'd rather see BAMA stomp the living shite out of the cheating, lying, hypocrite hillbillies over and over and over again.

I can see how the BAMA/LSU rivalry is more important to LSU.

so rivalries are determined by the number of threads started on this one forum of secrant.com....got it.

people who say this are either trolling or don't have much of a sense of SEC football history. And if you want to go down that route, college football has been played since 2003 too. ANd if we're being honest, Tennessee football was complete garbage for most of the 70s and from 1958-1966, as well as the past 10 years. All programs have a down cycle. LSU had theirs in the 90s. Just so happens, more people who post on message board were alive in the 90s, so that's what they saw themselves.

Obviously that was a dig, wasn't directed at LSU fans that don't feel compelled to start TSIO threads.

Will lsu ever be permanently more hated than Tennessee? Lololol no

This.

LSU is a huge game because of how good both teams have been over the last ~10 years. If UT had been any good over that time period things would be different.

AU > UT > LSU in terms of rivalry for Alabama.

LSU website : check

LSU ranked in the top 10: check

Tennessee not ranked in the top 10: check

Not weird at all, really.

LSU vs Bama has only been a rivalry since both teams have been good at the same time (2000s+ esp after nick). UT Bama is a much older rivalry. LSU has old rivalries too, like ole miss. But both bama and lsu hate each other now. I think Auburn is still bamas biggest rival but for LSU fans its now bama even if it used to be auburn or ole miss.

Yes, Draconian, we can.

LSU is our second biggest rival in my opinion. The Tennessee rivalry feels so contrived and stale to me.

I get traditions and all of that, but new traditions must start somewhere, and the FSIN is THE game every year.

Is LSU/Florida a bigger rivalry than Georgia/Florida? How come LSU fans don't pump up their rivalry with Florida as much as their Alabama "rivalry"?

Who is considered LSU's true, historic, rival? Serious question.

I know Arkansas plays LSU for the Boot or whatever, but that game usually has no major implications to anyone outside those fanbases.

Is it Ole Miss? Off top of my head I think the casual fan should be able to name the rival for almost every team in the SEC. Let me try, again, I dont follow the West rivalries much so correct me if I'm wrong.

TN- UF, Bama....Vandy and kinda UGA

UF- FSU, UGA, TN and kinda Miami

Bama- Auburn, Tennessee
Auburn- Bama, idk maybe UGA or LSU I don't follow AU.
MS State- Ole Miss
Ole Miss- MS State, maybe LSU?

LSU- Our-Kansas and maybe Ole Miss?

A&M- Texas. begs every other west team to be their rival?

Mizzou- Who Cares?

Kentucky- Louisville

Vandy- Tennessee

UGA- UF, GaTECH, and maybe TN or Auburn?

South Carolina- Clemson, that's it right?

Arkansas- LSU..back in the day maybe Texas and That's it right?

The sentence was complete and needed a period after the word "ranked".

frick UT, what else would you like to discuss about TSIO?

Fournette vs. Bama Run D is one of the best match ups we have had to look forward to in the SEC in a long time. That plus yall seem to have two weeks off before playing us and starting a bunch of threads really are the driving factors.
