No, I am saying the cost of LSU and Georgia both going if Georgia wins out is less than the cost of LSU rematching 2 other top 8 teams it already beat. To me that makes the regular season feel less impactful. Thats why college football is unique and these rivalries mean more....

Boils down to this: What is more fair:
1.) 1 loss LSU conference loser in 4th place over 12-1 Oregon conference champ
Or
2.) 8 team playoff where LSU has to rematch 3 teams it beat or played already in the regular season: Georgia, Alabama, and maybe Florida/Auburn.
The difference between 12-1 ...

Every year since they've joined the SEC they've been exactly 1 spot behind LSU in the final SEC West standings. which means, if LSU is ever to go back to the SEC championship game, we need Texas A&M to have a good year!...

I told everyone that after the Alabama game, as long as Les Miles was still the coach and we ran our stupid arse offense that I would not spend a dime on LSU. Ole Miss and Arkansas proved me right. Then this catastrophe happens. LSU will lose at least 2 games next year and one of them is Alabama. LSU...

If LSU loses, it's Les Miles last game, and everyone will say well that's why theyre changing the guard.
If LSU wins, it's because it was his last game and the team will play extremely hard all 4 quarters.
Poor aggies. Even at the end of the les miles era they cant get a break....

2 years. If he drops 3 games or less i'll be satisfied. I'd expect a minimum of 2 losses the year after though unless our QB position is still messed up. then by year 3 I expect to have a competitive game against alabama if we failed the last 2 years....

Ive seen 90% of LSU games since 2006 and didnt watch the arkansas game. The season was already over. still dont know how that game went. 21-0 is the worst game to me...
