God forbid we talk about our own quarterback on an LSU website. The first legitimate quarterback in five years isn't nearly as interesting as what color shirt Saban wore to the 37th day of spring practice, or how many fans were in Bryant-Denny for the spring game.

We turned in one of the greatest seasons in college football history minus the last game, considering all the bullshite that went on last year with 2 QBs that never should have been more than back ups. We return 95% of that team and will have ONE guy at QB finally. He just so happens to be a pretty talented guy that can actually make every throw on the field. Pardon me for thinking we might run shite again.

The fans with sense doesnt expect mett to set the world on fire, we're just happy we have a qb that can pass the ball without our hearts skipping a beat on every drop back.
Nothing more, nothing less IMO. All of the people mentioning him in the same sentence as Barkley, Wilson, etc are just delusional.

I knew not to judge by the Spring Game. I was going by the mobility and the arm strength I saw in his tape. But besides that, I was just guessing

I have seen Bama fans on here claiming McCarron is the best qb in the conference. I'd say that's a bigger stretch.
