Right? We all know it started in 2000.

Blessing in disguise, ags. Now you can get someone who will continue to teach your guys how to rush the passer.

You're right. He should have used the word "dumpster fire" to describe your football program.

How is an eight win team a "dumpster fire?"

LSU football was successful before 2000.

Then A&M is successful as well by that standard.

In 2000 the LSU program had the same number of AP national titles A&M had and the same number of Heisman winners.

We appreciate you finally recognizing us as a successful program I guess.

I would imagine starting off 5-0 and finishing 3-5, losing 10 stars of quarterbacks to transfers in an offseason (14 over two), having team discontent, suspending people for violating team rules, staff discontent, trying to fire your coach, claiming your coach has a coke problem, and claiming your coach used influence to cover up a DUI might have something to do with that perception.

Meh, we had another transfer the year before. And the year before. It happens. No one called us a dumpster fire after 2012 when we had a four star QB transfer.

That happens everywhere.

Well sure if you are going to bring message board hearsay into the mix than half the SEC could be considered dumpster fires. That is a pretty low bar you set.

Yep. Those situations are exactly alike.

Yep. It usually doesn't happen during Bowl Prep.

You guys believe Roger Klarvin until you don't. Sure, everyone's program accuses their coach of covering up a DUI and tries to fire him on that basis.

You mean the coach you threw a hissy fit about when Chavis left? The one who had more DL recruits drafted than any other in the SEC while he was there? The one who landed tu's best DL recruiting class in years?

He's ours if we want him because that is how A&M rolls.

So does texag13 have to delete his account now or?

Obviously not. Two in a year is a bit much. But then we got a transfer who was a four star so it balances out some.

I am just saying we are used to losing at least one four star or better QB a year for a while now.

I don't know if there is a time when it is more or less likely. All major programs have to deal with it though.

I personally never thought Sumlin would be fired, but I have my own connections to big boosters that I know like Sumlin.

Yall just want us to have believed in Klarvin because half of the "dumpster fire" thesis depends on it.

Honestly I think the "Told you so, Chavis can't recruit" angle is much more relevant than message board chatter. I am pretty glad deep down we didn't get Brick because yall were probably right about him being a shitty recruiter too.

Don't see many of the usual posters who try to troll the shite out of LSU fans. to cardboardboxer for being a stand-up person.

He's back in his Trey Quinn thread stirring shite up again. He's a glutton for punishment, I guess.

all I know is that Chavis and Brick inherited damn good DL's and LB's and 6 years later the cupboard was bare. for a fact, Chavis spends little time recruiting but as a DC that is kind of understandable. Haley, on the other hand struck out most of the time on 4 and 5 star guys (close to all of the time), esp the big body interior linemen. also, pro coaches had bad things to say about the LSU DL's that got drafted (their lack of technique). so I agree with the poster that he's a so so coach.

I think y'all indeed dodged a bullet. imo, your HC better be careful; chief wanting Haley is not a real good sign. it sounded like a buddy deal and chief is not all that worried about longer term effects. like he may retire soon.
