LSU and ND have played ten times

ND and UT eight

Bama/ND seven

UGA once

Played Tulane often when they were SEC, but current members they've played LSU the most

So I find Kelly's statement fraudulent in all regards, they don't want to play any SEC teams

Because they're both in the same country? Or because Georgia has a history of shitting the bed in non-conference?

Yall played each other twice within 6 weeks? That's gotta be a first. I know, I know, 2011, but that was far different scenario.

I bet he would like to play them right now. They lost almost their whole defense from last year, but are ranked #5 in the country.

If we want the SEC to look strong, we don't want Georgia playing any non conference games they could lose...

See Colorado embarrassment and Boise choke

It was a bowl rematch (again) vs ND

Split that season too go figure

But yeah dinardo broke out the gold jerseys for that one

I just don't get his natural matchup BS. The catholic angle of both areas was always a draw when the LSU games were played

Win a conference championship of the non-1969 ACC variety and then come talk to me.

I know Georgia has had some high profile losses non-conference but Richt is actually damn good overall in the non-conference. 8-4 in bowl games, 11-1 vs. GT, 1-0 vs. FSU, 2-0 vs. Clemson, 2-0 vs. Arizona State

The ugly losses to Colorado and Boise are terrible, but Richt's non-conference record vs. BCS teams (counting Boise in this total) is 26-7.

dafaq?

since when do bowl matchups count as a regularly scheduled season series?

oh wait I know, when you can use it to make it seem like you were kicking NDs arse in the regular season and thats why they didn't reschedule you.

Saaaay WHAT!?! They play Temple in their first game this year! When did they join the ACC? Temple is not a long time rival for Notre Dame.

I think Mr. Kelly might want to remember the lesson he was taught last January, and stay away from SEC schools. He has managed it in the past.

You REALLY shouldn't talk about thing you know nothing about. You are embarrassing yourself.

Boise was ranked #5 in Nation and Georgia was #19.

So he calls out a SEC team that's lost in a BCS bowl in the last few years?

Georgia played in the Sugar in 2002 and beat Florida State 26-13...am I missing something?

Played Virginia in the Sugar in 2006 and lost 38-35

Played Hawaii in 2008 and beat them 41-10. We've done all right.

Brian Kelly has yet to beat an SEC team while at ND. Until he shows that he can, there is no match up that can be called anything except a likely loss for him.

Because it has nothing to do with Alabama! See? natural!

He sceered of Alabama.....he needs to be scared of just about everybody else in the SEC. In all seriousness, how many SEC teams do you think could have beaten The IIIIII-RISH, last year?

(Man, I HATE Notre Dame with a passion)
