hoping we would beat ND. Crap, a lot of Georgia fans thought ND would beat us.

Nobody did until we beat them like we did, and then they followed it up at Auburn. But that is kind of my point. You can't base how good or bad a team is based on their performance in recent years, or this early in the season.

I mean, FSU is only bad now because their star QB is out for the season. That was a solid W for Bama.

Maybe, but their defense, oline, and running game aren't as good as they have been either.

We absolutely destroyed FSU's season. Obliterated it. By more than 1 point. That is who.

I haven't been very active over here in quite a while. Burned out a bit I guess. This board is shitty about 90% of the time.

Still waiting on a solid answer as to why beating 4-1 ND by one point on the road is a bad thing.

no doubt, but they likely have 1 loss if Francois is still playing. He makes that much of a difference IMO.

Well...they are only 1-2. And they didn't look like a #3 team against Alabama. Had they played their game with Miami as scheduled they might be 1-3.

that's a good win. I just think most people don't respect ND anymore and for good reason.

UG fans are just funny right now and way overconfident, when Florida and Auburn beat the dogs they will return to reality. Remember the Gators don't lose to the leg humpers, any more.

And, nobody is at the same table with Bama in the SEC right now.

But that's a guess. Nobody can say what a team would be or would not be if........it would all be speculation.

ETA
They lost 3 games last year with Francois.

This ND team is 4-1 with 4 blowout wins.

Most people have a wildly inflated view of what a top 15-25 college team looks like.

Bad? It isn't a 'bad' thing it just isn't a good win. ND is and has been irrelevant for how long now? The Miss State win looks worse and worse by every passing weekend. Hopefully you guys can put the Vandy and GT demons to rest this year.

they play Miami this weekend..Their game vs ULM was cancelled. They'd have beaten ULM obviously.

And Francois was a true freshman last year. Those 3 losses were Louisville (Heisman winner), Clemson (eventual champs) and NC (pretty decent team).

I'd argue for a true freshman to beat Ole Miss, Miami, UF, and eventually Michigan it's pretty damn good. Especially compared to those losses to good teams.

We are overconfident?
We aren't predicting a certain win against either fo those teams.

1) They were in the national championship in 2012. That is at least "relevant."

2) Why does that matter? Why wouldn't you evaluate that win based on the body of evidence in this season?

It was postponed from an earlier date, though.

And what happened in that Game? It was literally over in the 1st Q. I would argue they didn't even deserve to be there.
