Ohio State is a media darling, much like Notre Dame. They're pretty damned overrated, year in, year out. Kinda like Choklahoma.

No. No you have not shown Ohio State is "over-rated".

Now you are being obtuse. Why don't you go back and talk on a Big 12 board? If you want to come on here claiming you have a rival that you have played 4 times in the last 40 years...and that Ohio State is better than Oklahoma, Alabama and Clemson, then you have no credibility.

So because we beat them ranked #5 while they were ranked #2 means they were "over-rated".

They will get beaten by Penn State and Michigan. They will finish with 3 losses and CharlotteSooner thinks they are a #2 team in the country.

I didn't say Ohio State was better than Oklahoma. They obviously aren't. I haven't seen them play Bama or Clemson this year so I can't say whether they are or are not better than those two teams.

Yes. Doesn't that make sense to you? they obviously are not the #2 team in the country. They probably won't even finish in the top 10. Think about it. they have 1 loss already with the #4 and #7 teams left to play. (Although, they might actually beat Michigan)

Because you beat them, right? I'm pretty sure Baylor might be better than Ohio State, honestly. Just based off your game with them and all, y'know?

Ok. So, if they were not overrated when they played Oklahoma, then that would mean Ohio State would have to finish at #2. (If not they were overrated, right?)
So you believe it goes something like this:

1.Oklahoma
2. Ohio State
3/4 Alabama/Clemson

This is the way you see it?

Penn State hasn't faced a ranked team yet this season so I doubt that. Michigan hasn't played anybody outside of a over-rated Florida team traveling with a high school roster due to suspensions. You're a fool if you're pronouncing the inevitable defeat of Ohio State in both of those games.
10-2 is as bad as it will get for Ohio State. Go ahead and bookmark that.

I can see 10-2 as a possibility. So, you think the #2 team in the country at the end of the year will have two losses in the regular season?

Most likely not. There's nobody in your league capable of mounting a challenge to Bama anymore so I don't see them dropping out of the top 2 for any reason.

Oklahoma and Clemson actually have some challenging games ahead. Either, or both, could easily lose a game along the way and open the top 5 back up to Ohio State. Ohio State lost at home to Va-Tech early in the season the year they won their national title. Were they over-rated?

ND is 4-1 and beat the brakes off of a team Clemson struggled to put away. This isn't the same ND team that went 4-8 last season. They are blowing teams out.

Because think about what you are saying. I said at #2 Ohio State was an overrated team, and you were offended.
You then admitted that it is reasonable that Ohio State would finish their regular schedule at 10-2. So, at 10-2 you would have to believe a 2 loss team not only makes the playoffs, but plays for the National Championship.

Is this really the prediction you want to hang your hat on?

Ok. Sooooo....if Alabama finishes at #2 and Oklahoma wins it all how can Ohio State not be overrated at #2?

At that time they were.

I'm not "offended". I'm "amused"....especially from such a statement coming from a Georgia fan....about OHIO STATE. That's funny...

I didn't say "it was reasonable that Ohio State would finish the season 10-2". I said 10-2 was as bad as it would get for them, as in, worst case scenario.

If you have to revise what was actually said during a conversation to feel like you're winning, you're losing.
